Nationwide Home Warranty Same complaints as others here, company is a rip off! New York New York
I am experiencing the same issues as others here. Trying to get my water heater replaced, they say it had a pre-existing condition and that they will absolutley not cover it. I have a home inspection that shows the water heater was fine at the time of my closing. That was over five months ago that the warranty started, like I would risk having a bad water heater in my house that long! The "supervisor" that took my claim info was a complete a** hole! his name is John Ryan. after I requested to speak with his supervisor, he stated that he is the boss, and no one else above him would help me. He refused a refund of the warranty and stated that I am doing nothing more than waisting his time and that this is not even a discussable item.
The worst customer service I have ever delt with by far! after I got angry with him because of his attitude, he hung up on me. when I called back to get his name, he said you are SOL and that I will get no where trying to resolve this along with "we are a large company and have no time to deal with you", then hung up on me again. No time to deal with a paying customer, huh, isn't that your job! needless to say, I feel sorry for antone else that bought into this ripoff and ever has to deal with customer service there.
I have successfully convinced the realestate agency I delt with to stop using this company just by showing the better business reports and the postings on here, along with that, I have forwarded a link of these complaints from this site along with complaints from many other sites to plenty more national real estate agencies. I will continue to due so until I see some resolutin from this company or take enough business from them to make them notice there isa problem
