Netwinner LLC Deceptive practices - worst of them taking away players cash prizes and replacing with points Charlotte North Carolina
I joined Netwinner in 02/07 to "play for pay." We "spun" the "Moneywheel," clicked on ads, and Netwinner paid us in the form of gift cards to do this. The site kept changing and never for the better.
They took away gift cards and the only alternative was an ecard that had a $3 charge attached to it. This ecard was supposed to alleviate the huge backup of redemptions they had.
The wait got longer and longer - over 5 months, when their TOS went from 60 to 90 days - which is still a lot less than 5 months. We were promised month after month that we would be paid - never a doubt about it by any of the mods or administrators on the site - "Netwinner always paid."
I requested a $100 ecard on 3/21/08 (I waited, like a lot of other loyal Netwinner players, trying to help Netwinner catch up with their redemptions.)
Then we were told some great changes were coming to Netwinner - again. They then took away points from the "Moneywheel" and then changed the cashout from 25,000 to 100,000 points.
The last change was the last straw. On May 12, Netwinner took everyones' cash prizes (that they already had "processing" that were in their accounts and just erased them! They doubled the points and gave them back to us for raffle drawings.
This, to me, is beyond reprehensible. It also seems illegal.
