On Sat. Jan 3, 2009, I had no cell phone. I also had no change to use a payphone to inform my parents that I was safe and okay in the airport. Therefore, I saw on the payphone I could use my debit card and it said $1 every 4 minutes. So, I called in my 6 our trip from San Jose, CA to Seattle, WA a total of 7 times. 2 times the phone call didn't even go through, meaning the other person on the line couldn't hear me, so I had to hang up and try again. When I tried to use my card to get some food in the airport, it declined it and had no idea why because I looked to see how much money was in my account before I left to goto the airport that morning. I finally look on my account online and the phone company charged me $20 for every phone call! A total to $140 that came out of my account!!!! I was in tears. Each phone call lasted less than 5 minutes and like I said before 2 of those phone calls the other person couldn't even hear me, but I got charged $40 anyway. My cellphone bill for a whole month isn't even $140 let alone 5 phone calls that lasted less than 5 minutes. I want my money back and I will get it somehow...I recently also got laid off from my job and I just can't believe people at this company can be so cruel to rip people off like this!
