I went for a consultation for laser hair removal since I have blondish hair and the nurse suggested I book an appointment for treatment and assured me that the procedure would work even though I had doubts. I ended up booking the appointment and during the procedure, it was clear that the treatment wasn't working because I wasnt experiencing any of the side effects or indication that it was working such as redness or irritation, pain, and all of the hair was still present on my legs. The nurse suggested we keep going to see if some spots would work better than others and in the end, the treatment didn't work and the nurse apologized.
So you can imagine I was shocked when I realized that they still charged me for the treatment WHICH DID NOT WORK! I spoke to the General Manager who tole me that it was MY FAULT for letting the nurse proceed with the procedure, therefore she refused to give me a refund. Can you explain how a first time patient like myself is supposed to know that I need to stop the nurse? I expect them to be the professionals and know when to stop the procedure if it's clearly not working! Also, why had the nurse during the consultation told me to go ahead with the procedure?? Isn't that the whole point of a consultation??
In the end, I felt like I was lied to, taken advantage of, and disrespected by this business and their General Manager. They even flat out refused to give me the contact information for uppoer management when I wanted to take my complain up with someone else. I am disgusted at the way they treat their customers and blame innocent patients when a procedure that THEY RECOMMENDED didn't work. Do not support this business and their shady business practices!!
