I Purchased a refurbished Macbook Pro, from Newegg on March 1, 2015, plus a warrenty. The total came to over 1000.00 dollars. The first macbook did not work. and I sent it back within one month. The next macbook was not running an apple operating system, that was supported by apple. So no apple support, no Safari etc. It crashed completly after three months of unreliabilty. In October 2015 I contacted newegg and asked for a refund or a store credit. They stated Over the Phone, "No". They told me I would have to deal with their warranty service provider, VT Services. I have sent the same computer to VT Servises three times now, from October to March. Not once has the computer functioned correctly. VT Services has just told me, they can no longer take back the computer, because, it is too old to run an apple Operating system that is supported by Apple. This macbook is scratched very dirty, and has dust bunnies by the internal fan, there is old electrical tape on frayed wires internally. I have lost 1000.00 dollars to newegg who sold me a defective computer.

Hello Iris,
Thank you for taking the time to post this and I’m truly sorry for your experience.
I understand that you have also reached out to us in various ways, and we’re currently we contacting the Extended Warranty Company to see what options are available for you and to fully understand the situation.
Know that most of our items come with a 30 return period, hence why we are unable to take back the unit for a refund or store credit.
We will contact you directly when we have more information.
