My husband had my car service last Saturday June 10,2006 for 60K maintenance for a Montero sport as receipt showed a total to an amount of $581.66 My husband presented them the coupon of 15 % which they did not applied 15%off

When my husband gave me the receipt I reviewed it and I found that that I was double charged for the labor of sparkplugs replacement. I sent an email to the Service manager as I attached below. Upon reviewing the receipt, the labor for job # 1 includes the replacement of sparkplugs (platinum plugs extra)

Then J# 2 a labor charges for replaced spark plugs with an hours of 2.5 a total amount of $237.50 and a charge for spark plugs parts for $83.70 a total of parts and labor for spark plugs of $321.20. I called up the dealership since they never responded on my emailed and explain to them the spark plugs labor replacement was included on job #1. Since my car did not have a platinum plugs I should not be charged at all and it was very clear on job # 1 the way I read it, Platinum Plugs extra. I even told that my car tires were not even rotated why it was being included on J# 1 amount of $230.79

I told the service manager that it was a misrepresentation on the receipt on the job they never did. I was asking the credit of the full amount of the labor of $237.50 for the spark plugs replacement since the spark plugs on my car were not platinum and spark plugs labor replacement were included on job #1. I asked a few of repair shops how much will cost to install a spark plugs for my car and I was told that as long as not a platinum plugs it the most for labor and parts was $69.

And here Norco Mitsubishi double charging and ripping me off for another labor of 237.50 and a separate charged for the parts. And also not giving me the 15% off their coupon they sent that my husband presented to them. I should warn other customers to beware with this dealer on their repairs charges with this dealer. Hoping that Norco Mitsubishi to correct their invoice billing.

Below was my email message I sent to the service manager.

My husband has brought my car at your dealership this

morning to service. When I got the receipt from my

husband and reviewed the details . I noticed that

there was no 15% discount applied for coupon and a

double charged on labor. On the receipt Job #1 labor

charged of $239.79 spark plugs replacement was

included. on the Job #1 Then Job # 2 another charged

for labor of 237.50 to replaced spark plugs and parts

of $83.70. Since labor for spark plugs replacement was

already charged and included on on job # 1 why would I

be charged twice and besides it was to high just for

the spark plugs labor. In addition rotation of wheels

were not done and why got charged which is part of the

$239.79. I am requesting to make the necessary

adjustment credit on my statement. your immediate

action is highly appreciated.

I drove by this dealership the other day and found out the place was empty! This dealership is no longer in business as well as Norco Mazda across the street and Southwest Chrysler Jeep next to it.

What a rip off the cost of parts for the regular spark plugs I got charged was even higher as compared to another repair shop with a parts & labor with a platinum spark plugs cost only $69. So, just a warning to other customers to beware with this dealer on the repairs charges ripping off customers
