I don't know where you found this company, but I would suspect you found them on the internet. This is where most scam movers can be found and you were lured in by a low price. Obviously, this move cost you much more in real dollars than if you had gone with one of the major moving companies. Never find moving companies on the internet - bottom line. You can do research on a mover through the internet.... that's what the internet is good for in this case. The only way companies like this will be put out of business is when people stop using the internet to find a mover. On top of this, you found a moving broker - they are the worst people you can deal with. They sold your move to a company you weren't aware of, never dealt with, never saw your stuff before the move, etc... You filled out an inventory sheet (which is something a professional moving company should do when they see your items), and you missed a few things that the moving company will claim never was on the list - hence the additional $450.00. Disputing the charge with the cc company will come back as a loser for you, I'm afraid. At this point, there isn't much you can do. You made a lot of mistakes in finding these jerks and you got scammed by a mover who is protected by the courts through something called the Carmack Amendment and it prevents you from collecting on the types of things that happened to you. You can try settling for $230 (the difference between $125 and $339), but that's it. It's an expensive lesson to learn.......
