I went to this dealership because I heard they did 2 for 1 sale. My husband and I are Hurricane Katrina Evacuees and we needed 2 cars because we have to get to work. I explained to the dealer the job I was offered was 41 mintues away which is 60 miles round trip. I asked about the mileage issue, because he said we won't be able to get the low price on the purchase if we buy. I asked the same question again to the finance agent he also said don't worry about it, you will be fine.

The next thing I knew I was signing for 2 cars at $349.00 each instead of total. When I said I can't afford it and I had not signed the second contract. The finance man said I already did whe hen I intialed a white sheet of paper on what I would accept. But the dealer said that was to get the manager to approve what we will pay.

We had to drive 45 mile to this car dealer, because I thought he was trustworthy, when I got home I saw the contract was for 60months and the miles were 12,000 and anything over is 15 cents a mile. Just going to work will be 14,400 miles a year.

I have never been so hurt and upset for being ripped off.

Rip off? Who ripped off who? Why did you get into a FLEASE? You are going to pay tuition on a VERY VERY EXPENSIVE lesson. You read the contract when you "got home". Why not read it BEFORE YOU SIGN? It just simply amazes me!

A little common sense goes a long way on this one. If you stop and think about it, how can a dealership give you two cars for the price of one? The typical markup on a vehicle is between $1500-4000. Blame yourself for thinking they would sell you two cars for $349 a month. Its simple math
