On September 4, 2006 around 5:45pm or so, my family (wife and two kids) went to North Texas Nissan located at 5650 S. Stemmons Frwy in Correnth TX to try and purchase a new car. We found a 2006 Nissan Ultima that we really liked and wanted some information on it. After about 8 min. or so, we were approached by a manager (he said) asked us if we had been helped. We stated no. He found a salesman who at first did not have time but came up to us about 2 min. later and asked how he could help.

His name was Cory, did not say last name. He brought the car up, we looked at it and agreed to talk. We went inside, sat down and Cory started taking down information from us. When he got down to me signing, I said I wanted to find out how much they were going to give me for the trade in before they pulled my credit and tried to make a deal. He said he would have someone go look at it. About 20 min. later, he came back, said they would give the $10,800.00 that we were asking but we needed a Co-Signer. I asked him how would they know that. Cory said from financial information they got from Omni, our current auto loan holder. I asked what information did they give you, he said they told him our Fico Scores over the phone. I asked him to please give me the name and number of who he spoke with because that upset me that someone was giving that information out over the phone. He said he did not know who he spoke with but gave me the number. I called on my cell phone and it said that the office was closed and to call back tomorrow due to the holiday. Cory tried twice and acted like he did not know what was going on. I asked if we could go to the phone he used, may be it was a different number, he said no because customers are not allowed where he went. I knew something was wrong. I asked him if they pulled our credit and he said NO.

At that time I asked to speak with a manager. That is when Trayl (ast. Mgr)came over, Trayl asked Cory what was going on, he tried to start talking about us buying the car and left out why I asked to speak with a manager, that's when I jumped in. I told him what had happened. Then, Trayl asked Cory for our report. Cory pulled out some folded up papers from his coat pocket. When Trayl opened it up, I saw that it was my credit report. I asked Trayl if it was my report and he said Yes. I could not believe this, they just lied to my face and sat there like nothing was wrong looking over my report. Trayl then said to make up for what has happened, if he could get the deal done on my terms could we make the deal. I really did not want to do business with them, and then remembered how bad my wife wanted the car so I told him Yes. He asked me to initial a piece of paper and he would make it happen.

He came back about 15 min. later and said he could not find anything out tonight because Nissan Financial was closed until in the morning. Said he would call me first thing. I am writing this at 12:30 on September 5, 2006 and have left Trayl a message 1 hour ago but have yet to hear back. It is now 3:00 and I just got back from the dealership. I decided to go up there. When I walked in and had Trayl paged, he was just walking in the door with a McDonnalds bag. He sat down but did not respond. The receptionist paged him again, he yells out across the floor that I will have to wait because he is eating lunch. Then I ask to speak to the GM. She sends a page to a Johnny (GM) said he would be right with me. At that time, Trayl yells across the floor to me, Hey Chad, come here. I walk over there and he said he submitted my paperwork this morning and should find out something by 5:00 PM. This after promising me that he would find out that morning and never returning my call. When I told him that he should have called like he promised, he said hold on. He went to an office and said it would be in about 1 hour, then sat back down to eat his food. I walked away still waiting for the GM. While I am waiting, about every 15 min. someone comes up to me asking if I have been helped, I said no and explained. They would tell me they will find someone for me and then they disappeared.

After 56 minutes, a man by the name of Sean ask me to step in his office. He asked me what was going on. When I explained, he apologized and said he was going to give me special treatment for what I have been through. He then tells me that he could get me a 13 or 14% interest rate and my payments to be around $540.00 a month. I told him that Trayl said he would give me the pay off I was asking and try to get my payments around $400.00 like I had. He said he can't do it, tried to convince me to get a lease, I said no, is there anything else he can do, he said no as well. He stood up, extended his hand and said that they were a dealership I could trust and would not rip me off. I could not believe it, after several lies. I then asked if he could help find a GM to speak to, he said none were available. I told him that the receptionist informed me that there were 2 or 3 GM there and even spoke with one. He again said they were not available, that they asked him to speak with me on their behalf.
