And if wasn't for perverted, hypocritical, Bible-thumping, sociopathic Republicans -- many of whom had also cheated on their wives (this has been well documented by Larry Flynt) -- our nation would have never had to go through that whole debacle in the first place. However, if you want to talk about impeachable offenses, what Nixon (a Republican) did was impeachable. What Reagan (another Republican) did by subverting Congress and the Constitution in the Iran/Contra scandal was impeachable. Furthermore, need I remind you that both Bush and Cheney were passing around the hat for legal fees during the election theft back in 2000? So it's not only Bill Clinton that sought money for legal fees. In any event, I do not think this forum is the proper place to be debating politics primarily because many of the people that have been victimized by Ocwen come from all political stripes and persuations. Do you really want to risk turning off those people, who you need to support your cause, because of your personal politics? But while we're on this topic, I've seen so many appeals from people on here to both Bush and Cheney to help them save their home that I would laugh if it wasn't so sad and pathetic. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but neither one of them are going to help anyone battle Ocwen because they both are former CEOs, are friends of corporations and side with corporations; they're not out there to help the little guy. Bush's and Cheney's connections to Enron are well documented and you must ask yourself, if they were willing to passively sit by -- if not participate -- in the complete screw over of Enron employees and consumers in Califonia during the fake power crisis in the summer of 2001, do you think they're really going to care if you lose your home to a corporation? Additionally, both Bush and Cheney and a Republican controlled Congress have been busy farming out public functions of the government to corporations; a post that's on here from some time ago stating that some HUD functions were being contracted to Ocwen is a good example of that. Further, it is a Republican, Rep. Bob Ney of Ohio, who is pushing for pro-mortgage lender and servicer legislation in the House, with H.R. 333, which will strip away the benefits of those states that have tough predatory lending laws that some of you may enjoy. The foxes are guarding the henhouse, so do you still think Bush and Cheney and most of the Republican Party care whether you lose your home? That's not to say that all Democrats are any better; there are some I can't tolerate. However, if you read the Fairbanks Capital Corp. complaints on this website, you will see that Fairbanks victims have gotten the attention of Sens. Barbara Mikulski and Paul Sarbanes, both Democrats from Maryland, who have in turn gotten HUD and the FBI to conduct investigations into Fairbank's shady mortgage servicing practices and criminal indictments might not be too far off. This also goes for U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) as well as other local Democratic politicians in Massachusetts and New York. You may not be a Democrat or have to like them, but they're going to be your best hope to get anything done with fixing this industry. Finally, I noticed in this thread there was a comparison of the "battle" with Ocwen to the war on Iraq. I don't think the poster meant to be glib in making this comparison; at least I hope not. While losing your home is certainly a hardship, in the "war" with Ocwen be glad that's the only thing you can lose. Let's not forget that the victims of the war on Iraq are U.S. soldiers and innocent civilians who pay with their lives. I don't think it's proper or appropriate to compare the two because the respective losses in each situation don't even come close.

Sorry to be so cynical and untrusting. We didn't mean to hurt anyones feelings. It has just been so long since we could believe anyone has really good intentions and our own attorneys fees are mounting. But we are there for you Kweku and as always so are our prayers!

Dear Fellow Ocwen Victims: First, as always, I thank ALL of you who have sent in your sworn statements as we unite to attack this disgraceful corporation that calls itself Ocwen Federal Bank. Please know that efforts continue unabated, almost around the clock, to fight these loan predators in the courts. In the 9 months since our lawsuit was filed, we have made great inroads and laid the groundwork for the battles that lie ahead. I can tell you that a giant law firm is about to take on Ocwen in the coming weeks. This will NOT affect our class action case directly, but will be a so-called "northern front" in the war. Now, to clear up any possible confusion regarding the previous posts on this particular page: I did casually mention to "D" [Afraid To Say] that the litigation was costing a lot of money. It is, but I am not in this for personal enrichment, and I am absolutely loathe to ask Ocwen victims who have already been so disgracefully ripped-off, to contribute anything. I entered this putative class action case of my own volition, and I am determined to fund it for as long as I can of my own resources. Ocwen, which has people assigned full time to read through each and everyone of these posts daily, would love nothing more than to exploit any idea that either my coffers are running empty [sorry, Ocwen, they are not, just got a nice settlement which will carry me well into next year in terms of funding this lawsuit --- why do you think we took a very risky, long shot, appeal by way of mandamus to try to get the judge recused?]. Ocwen would love nothing better than to sow confusion by saying I am trying to skim monies off you fellow victims. Even though even Bill Clinton, when he had legal problems of his own doing, went out and rallied supporters to contribute to a Clinton Defense Fund. It would be very nice to have an Ocwen Assault Fund and if everyone contributed even only the $95 charged by by Ocwen per attorney debt letter, we would quickly have some useful funds for reproducing and sharing documents, making phone calls to all who have sent in Affidavits, etc., etc. The Editor of this Website could collect the funds . . . . So my response is this: "D"'s post was (and is) very well intentioned. And, YES, my case is making headway in the sandstorms of the court. Ocwen knows it, and will know it even better when my lawyer sends them the list of persons to be deposed, including . . . you guessed it! I shall NOT ask anyone for any funds to help out in this case. "The prayers of the righteous availth much," according to the Scriptures. So for those of you who do not get queasy about religious talk (after all, who is bigger than Ocwen except the Lord God Almighty?), I ask you to "pray without ceasing." PRAY, PRAY, PRAY, PRAY, PRAY! And as another dedicated victim-turned-fighter said recently, each and everyone of you guys go on the Net (use google.com or download.com) and find and download and install "Trojan Remover", "SpyBot - Search & Destroy" and make sure that your Windows XP {if you have that) is configured to have the firewall ON. That way, you can keep out the hackers who are silently scanning your hard drives daily. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE ENEMY. Kweku Hanson

Go To Your Churches I too am an Ocwen victim who has been trying for three years to get my home and my sanity away from them. I have written to every branch and officer of the government and media that you can think of. And no one is helping. And its obvious that that is their tactic, to wear us down. Since our government is not acting, its time to enlist the help of a large network of people to help us. Print off a representative portion of these reports. Compose a cover letter that references the travelripoff reports web site accurately and outline a few things you would like the pastor, priest, rabbi or other church official to do, such as contacting government officials, regulatory agencies, media, reputable banks and media. Go to the copy shop and have 20, 30 or 50 copies made. Go not just to your church, but to every church on every block of every denomination. We need help. Since Ocwen tries to wear us down fighting them alone, we need to enlist as many people as we can to help. The more good people we have helping, the more likely we will be able to prevent being homeless and broken. God is the only one who can help us escape from this predator.

Mr. Hanson is NOT former president Clinton, and he has informed me personally that he will NOT solicit funds. He has in fact incurred much expense in this litigation, and I personally thought that it would be nice to offer to pay him for his services, as he is the ONLY attorney who has offered to take on the giant of Ocwen. I don't believe that there has been any other attorney who has been willing to do as much as he has, or has even gotten as far as he has.

It is very generous of you to offer to collect funds to help Mr. Hansons efforts but I don't beleive he asked for any funds. I know he has not asked us for anything and I'm sure IF funds were needed he would contact us directly. Thanks Anyway
