I worked at onestopmotors awhile ago. Some of the complaints here have some basis and others don't. First, working conditions are good. It's a Monday to Friday job and the hours are from roughly 9 to 5. It's a casual and comfortable place to work. Employees come and go. There were a few people who had been there awhile but most were like me, just there for a few weeks or less. Training is one day and it focuses on sell sell sell. The internal workings of the company are covered only so far as to expand on the selling aspect. One Stop Motors is a room full of booths with a telephone in each one. Employees are given a list of vehicles and phone #'s or are given magazines to find vehicles for sale. There is a lot of overlapping so an advertiser was often called more than once by onestopmotors. My overall sense is that Onestopmotors was generally on the up and up. However, there were things that bothered me. As stated earlier, the strong focus was to sell and try to get a credit card number. It felt dirty. When a employee got a sale they would let others know and the room would break out in applause. I heard other employees say things to potential customers that simply weren't true. There wasn't enough monitoring of employees. Personally, I would NEVER advertise my car with onestopmotors. I think if anybody is stupid enough to give $450 out over the phone, maybe they deserve what they get. Please people, the things a salesman says can't be trusted. Get it verified. In the end, I couldn't work there with a good conscience. Again though, it was a service that customers were happy with...not all but most. Generally onestopmotors did sell the vehicle. However, there seemed to be a lot that fell into the cracks. It was not as professional as one would hope but working conditions were fine.

Rob - I'm not sure exactly where you concocted the second half of that tale you've weaved on this Web site. Yes, I did use your site to sell my Jeep, which I did rightfully own. And, you and I both know that I paid you the $90 in eBay charges it cost you for me doing so. As for this garbage about Provo, Utah, and a cashier's check, I've never been to Utah. Being the anti-semitic d****ebag you are, I'm sure you were unaware that Jews aren't very welcome over there. Hence the fact that I would never step foot in Utah. I truly pit those who attempt to conduct legitimate business with your "company." If only they were aware of the shameless practices in which you operate. You hire the dregs of Las Vegas, treat them like crap and then fire them the minute they decide not to compromise their ethics for your wellbeing. I commend you for somehow not winding up in prison for your shady business dealings, but I'm sure -- just looking at this site -- you'll be there soon, taking it where it hurts most. You're a heartless, unethical, sham of a businessman, Robert. You lie to your clients, your potential clients, your girlfriend and your employees. You're name is crap. You're company is steadily following suit. Best of luck in reinventing yourself, and trying your scam elsewhere. Why not try Ohio? I hear they grow 'em kinda slow there. - Ross

I would personally like to have the privilege to respond to the accusations made by Ross. I believe Ross knows as well as I do that EVERYTHING he claims is 100% false and has no value whatsoever. For anyone who is viewing Ross' claims, I'll have you note this is coming from a source that was released from OSM for not only unethical business practices, but stealing from the company. Let me explain; for the short time Ross was employed by OSM he was in charge of posting vehicles to additional affiliated web sites, one of those sites was eBay Motors. I found out that Ross took it upon himself to post his Jeep Wrangler without authorization under the companies account on eBay. As some of you may know eBay can become fairly costly, especially if you include all the extra little upgrades and specs for an advertisement. Ross not only took it upon himself to do this, but Ross was one of the many who SOLD his vehicle through my company's eBay account! YES, Ross the former employee who claims our services are a lie sold his Jeep using the very same services that we sell to our clients! But this is just the beginning, Ross not only sold his vehicle through the services provided by OSM, but I later found out that Rosses Jeep, was in actuality a Jeep purchased a couple of months prior in Provo, Utah on eBay Motors. The original seller of the Jeep, Tom, received what he thought was a legitimate cashiers check. Needless to say, it was not. I was contacted by the original seller, Tom and the Provo Utah police department within a few days of the Jeep being listed on eBay. Apparently the original seller, Tom had been looking for Ross for a couple of months and while doing a search on eBay found his original Jeep for sale! In return, Tom was able to get in contact with me. Needless to say Ross was released from OSM and his information was turned over to the Provo Police Department. Until now, I have not heard from the alleged felon Ross or anyone in that matter. I was MUCH surprised to see his exaggerated, unbelievable, false claims! For the record, anyone who may come across this site (Ripp Off Report) or Ross' accusation I welcome you to check out our web site or better yet contact us directly to see our legitimacy for yourself. OSM has been in business now for nearly 3 years. As one of the Nations leading private party advertising web sites we pride ourselves on some of the MOST aggressive forms of advertising on the internet today! As with any automobile advertising company there are bound to be a very small number of sellers who are disappointed. There are far too many factors to list regarding as to why or why not a vehicle will or will not sell. With over 12,000 private party sellers, again there may be a few sellers who are disappointed, but let me say this; had those sellers utilized the services of OSM the way it was recommended, chances are they would have success selling their vehicle. Seeing the comments on a site such as this only makes me want to start OSM Satisfied, Happy, Giddy, Jolly, and SOLD THEIR VEHICLE Report.com! People are extremely quick to exaggerate and bad mouth a company should their vehicle not sell, when in actuality most individuals have NO clue what they're even talking about. Some of the clients who have complained on this site do concern me. However, nine times out of ten after reviewing the matter in detail, I am left to find out that there are specific reasons for each and every case. The client can be just as much at fault as the company. Most all the statements on Rip Off Report are false. OSM has reason to believe that a lot of the postings are from one individual posing as other identities. Other complaints stem from a company called Motor Zoo USA or National Auto Shopper who are in NO way affiliated with OSM. Again, should ANYONE question are legitimacy I welcome you to contact OSM directly. Better yet, come by physically and see for yourself!
