Optics Planet is one of the worse shopping experiences I have ever had.

Spent $1200+ and paid for 2-day shipping. Item shipped ground. Called customer service and they said that Ground only takes an extra day and they thought it would be OK, Ground shipping would have been free and I wanted it the day before. After an hour on the phone, shipping was finally refunded.

Item Arrived. It was a used Item. Obvious signs of use. Contacted support and got a huge run around. Was told to expect a call back from a manager. No contact was made from a manager.

I had to call customer support 15+ times over the course of 3 weeks before something got going. Never a call back from anyone over there. Promises were made and broken, Lies were told. No one wants to "Fix or Correct" any problems because admitting there was a problem is taking responsibility which they want to place on you.

Decided to give them another shot. Return and exchange. Took another week and a half to 2 weeks before the exchanged item shows up. Item was not only 4 years old(Which means the tritium in the sight is dimmer) but it also has water inside scope which is supposed to be nitrogen purged. Sent it back for an exchange.

Took 3 weeks for the next item to ship out to me. Item arrives and has an issue with the lens. Finally tired of dealing with their inferior(or non-existent) customer service, I send it back for a refund. Here I am nearing 3 months after the initial purchase, With hours and hours of time spent on the phone with their customer service, No item, and no refund(its been 12 days since it was sent back in). They have done nothing to correct any of the problems or issues or offered anything for all the inconvenience and headache.

They say All returns and exchanges are processed within 10 days of receipt, but it takes them Weeks. Avoid these people. They don't care about the customer
