Paper Rush CO. Inc. Continues to scam and cheat customers and the scale is rigged at this place San Francisco California
Everytime that I have sold any recyclables at this establishment I have been taken advantage of. They cheat the scales. They cheat on the big scale and the small scale. i have went to another recycling place and weighed my truck and then went to Paper Rush CO Inc and the weight was nearly 400 pounds lighter. This place should have been closed down years ago. I would advise for no one to EVER sell any recyclable materials to this company.
For example, if you bring 200 pounds of CA REDEMPTION GLASS to Paper Rush CO Inc for recyling, and you get on the small scale: you will be cheated at least 40 pounds! They cheat you small amounts at a time. Until it bills up after all day and then they have stolen a lot of money. They are also racist. I came to the center at 2:43 PM. They close at 3 on weekends. I was there ahead of time. They refused to let me inside. I waited outside the gate and then I parked up ahead. I came back around to see that one of the Hispanic employees had opened the gate and let a 'Mexican Customer' inside because I am white I was not allowed to sell. This person came up 6 minutes after me but was allowed to enter.
When the market price for cardboard was at $135, they were always paying only $90.00 a ton. They never increased their prices in years. But when the market price went down from $135 to $115 they quickly dropped their price to only $80.00 then $70.00 then $50.00. They dropped their price much quicker than everyone else and went as low as only $20.00. WHen the prices go up they don't participate, but when they go down they will participate. What kind of scam is this? This place shouldn't be in business.
It is dangerous inside this facility. I have long since wondered where I could make a report on this place but couldn't find anywhere. They have been stealing for years. Ask anyone they will tell you. They dropped their price too far when it was n't paying as low as that. No one is paid failry in this place. The employees are rude. The people behind the window talk nice, but their face remains unseen because they are cheating as well. Something out to be done about this place. I know I am not the only person complaining.

I also wanted to mention that their are a few other issues that should be addressed. The employees cheat you when you sell White Ledger. They radio in to the office on their walkie talkies that you have colored paper among your load and they pay you for white paper. Then the old chinese lady that works their sorts it all day long so they can get paid for White Paper. What a cheat! I have never heard of that in my life. Also they impoperly have their pricing listed in the place on the board.
At a point they had a higher price than they were paying. Now the things that don't pay well like Newspaper, and Cardboard they have no price displayed. It just says 0.00. That is to mislead you and defraud you into selling without knowling the correct current selling price. And the conditions are hazardous and unsafe within the facility. You can hardly drive. Their are bails everywhere which seems illegal. They are probably waiting to sell it when the market price goes up. There is a bif metal thing in the way making it near bouts impossible to drive in this place.
They just do whatever they want and when you inform them of a problem. They just say that they will take care of it and they never do anything. i hope that something is done about this place. It should have been shut down by the City of San Francisco for the way that they are doing business. Theya re nothing but cheating, stealing, selfish, racist liars!!! (unless your mexican or chinese of course.)
