Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This company will rip you off. I bought a 2009 vehicle from this facility and it had some body damage issues. The dealerhip agreed to fix the issues. Well 4 months later, they only fixed 1 issue. There are still 4 others. I contacted the dearship to see when I could get the other issues repaired, well Mr. Rude John Cooper blew up at me and said he had already spent enough on the car and wasn't going to fix anything else. Well guess what, I filled out a To Do List of repairs that they agreed to. We will be in court for this issue. To back things up a little, I had to go through the BBB just to get the one issue fixed.

I sent a letter to the company after 3 months of no luck getting them to repair my car. Check it out below:

Dear Mr. Liechty & Associates:

I am writing this letter in reference to bodywork that is supposed to be completed for a Pontiac G6 (GREY) purchased from Parkway Mitsubishi on April 22, 2009. This job has had so many twists, turns, delays, and sidesteps that I do not know where to start. It is not at all confusing, but fortunately, I have kept up with all conversations and documentation for your review if needed.

I have enclosed a copy of two itemized statements for your review for body repairs to the 2009 Pontiac G6 that I purchased on April 22, 2009 from your Mitsubishi Dealership.

I have had several conversations starting with Mr. Philander Irvin, (Salesman who sold me the car). When there were little results with Mr. Irvin (no reflection of him because he did try very hard for me), I decided to contact Mr. Jim Cooper. Mr. Cooper assured me that he would contact a local body shop person by the name of Walley (this is the only name I have for him) that the dealership uses to fix bodywork to get the repairs done to my car. He also stated that every repair shop from here to Columbus, GA was booked due to hail damage contracts. I did manage to speak with this Walley person, and he agreed to come out and look at the car on Tuesday of May 05, 2009. I also asked Walley where did he work, the name of his business, etc. and he would not provide me any of that information. I was very concerned about him not sharing the information but still I waited all day for Walley; he was a no show. I then tried repeated attempts to contact Walley; no luck. I have been waiting going on 2 weeks for Mr. Cooper to return my call in addition to waiting since April, 2009.

While waiting for Mr. Coopers call, I decided to call him instead last week, and unfortunately, it was his day off so I left a voicemail explaining that I would seek a body shop and get estimates for the bodywork for his review. I still never received a call back from him to even confirm the phone call. Now this is a new week, May 25, 2009 and still no phone call from the dealership. I find the actions of the dealership very unprofessional and lacks customer service appeal. I now feel that Parkway Mitsubishi does not have my interest at heart and wishes I would stop calling. With these concerns, I decided to contact BBB (Better Business Bureau) to get the owners of the dealership names and it led me to you Mr. Liechty and a Mr. Barintine. They also asked that I try to settle with you before making a complaint; that your dealership was very good about resolving issues. I want so much for this to be true.

At this point, I am very disappointed with the process of purchasing this car and purchasing it from Parkway. Originally, I asked for Silver or Black G6 and the dealership provided a Grey one. I decided to keep the car because it had all the luxuries that I wanted, just not the color I wanted. I could have taken my check for the amount of the car and went somewhere else after all the efforts to find a vehicle. But I didn't with the thoughts that the dealership was really working for me, that is until the deal was finalized. Now I feel like I mean nothing.

On your company website there is a statement there in your about us section that says, Our dealership is one of the premier dealerships in the country. Our commitment to customer service is second to none. We offer one of the most comprehensive parts and service department in the automotive industry. Our primary concern is the satisfaction of our customers. Do you feel, Mr. Liechty, that I have been treated as your statement says?

Since a month has gone by for the purchase of my car, I have decided it would be in my best interest to settle with the dealership in the amount of the lowest enclosed estimate for $1594.04 for needed and promised repairs to my vehicle within 10 days of receiving this letter. I would like to seek getting my repairs done at the chosen location since there is and was a conflict especially with this Walley person with timeliness. All I want is my 2009 vehicle fixed to represent a 2009 purchase, no more and no less. If there are any questions, or you would like to discuss this in more depth, please contact me at (((phone number redacted))).

Sincerely,

Judy ****

Let this be a lesson to me, you and anyone else reading this. Either do not complete the transaction until any promised work is completed or at least get very explicit agreement in writing and signed by them. Do not expect that you can believe anything a car dealer tells you. This is assuming, of course, that this is the complete story.
