pc Security Shield Deluxe 2009 V-2 pcss anti virus shield deluxe products unable to safely download or uninstall, Internet
Last year 2008, needed new anti virus so chose pc security shield/while downloading, computer crashed and I had to hire computer geek to fix it, multiple viruses attacked my computer during trying to install. Geek fixed it and reinstalled pc sec shield successfully. Everything ok, so I thought
2009, need new anti virus, decided to stay with pc sec. shield as seemed to protect ok. bought their 2009 shield deluxe V2./2 years. price ok. But during uninstallment of the 2008 product, fatal error comes up telling me I am not authorized to do this, ******thing is, I was on the phone being guided thru the process by one of their specialists. When I told him about the error, he immediately told me my computer was going to crash and I had to hire someone he was suggeting to fix the problem. Of course we had words. I chose someone I want not someone they want, all very strange....and I was very upset. Within 2-3 minutes my computer crashed could not use it at all.
Again called my favorite computer geek to come and fix, and he was able to uninstall the 2008, but internet explorer had been attacked with a virus during the uninstall somehow and he could not fix that. I now use mazilla fire fox, and pc security shield is downloaded, but cant use it as all pages are totally a white blank, dont have a clue how to fix it, neither does the geek. Yet it seems to be working.
Never had any trouble downloading antivirus products until this one, once done with them, would never take the chance again, and when time to uninstall will hire geek upfront to get me through the process. They are very difficult to work with, and service is lousy.
