PeopleFinders.com Unauthorized charges on my credit card Internet
At one time I used PeopleFinders.com for a small fee of $1.95 and paid with my credit card as this transaction was done on-line. Unknown to me, by paying for that small fee fee using my credit card, I had unwittingly signed up for a membership with PeopleFinders.com. I was never notified of membership but on January 17, 2013, PeopleFinders.com charged me $14.95. That was not all!
Unknown to me, without notification or confirmation or permission to get payment from my credit card, PeopleFinders continued to charge me with an increase fee of $24.95 beginning February 2013 until September 2014. I did not realize that PeopleFinders have been charging me every month out of my credit card for $24.95. I did not pay much attention to charges made on my credit card until I this October and promptly called PeopleFinders to say that I did not sign up for membership even though I have been unknowinlg paid for their "services" that I did not use for the last 20 months for a total amount of $464.05.
I believe these charges were fraudulent or some sort of a scam to bilk people out of their money. Had I known, I would have cancelled and stopped payment right away. I paid for nothing as I do not get any kind of service from PeopleFinders.com and if I were to use the service, I probably be paying for an additional $1.95. As I do not get any kind of service, not even notification of my supposed "membership", I want to get my money back for non existence benefits and service that I have been paying for the last 20 months.
