I bought a transmission from phoenix remanufactured transmissions on 8/1/07. This was a company I saw on ebay, and made the mistake of calling them and ordering it rather than ordering it through ebay, that would have made it so easy to get my money back from this fraud company. I received an invoice the day I bought the transmission stating allow 10-12 business days for delivery, it took them 32 days to finally send me out the wrong transmission. I own my own business and at this point had not been able to work for almost 3 weeks to support my child and g/f because they took 2 weeks longer than they said to send me THE WRONG TRANSMISSION. Since I needed money for my family the manager told me if I send my old core back that day he would refund my $350 core deposite into my bank act the next day, they got the core and he DID NOT put the money in my account like he said 3 seperate times he would, he said I am sending you a check it will take 2 weeks to get there. So I then waited for my new transmission that I finally got today(9/12/07)...43 days later to find out THEY SENT THE WRONG ONE AGAIN!!!!!! so I now have not been able to work to support my family for a month now because this place has totally screwed me over. I have to spend 3 hrs a day trying to talk to the manager for him basically to tell me to f**k off. We got into it big time over the phone, words were exchanged, and now he says He is not sending new one for 5 more days. Good thing a week ago I reported them to my bank as the fraud company they are, and from that point I get my money back from my bank on fri, but still have to deal with this company cause now they have my core, and I have no transmission to get re-built now..dont let their cheap price on ebay fool you, I would gladly have paid 4 times what I paid to not have to go through all of this. I am trying to warm as many people as I can phoenix remanufactured transmissions will jack you around treat you like s**t lie to you over and over again, and not follow through with their end of a deal ever...DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!

My name is Jim and I am a fellow victim of these frauds. I posted here weeks before yours (from Plymouth, MA). I have also successfully recovered my money from the bank, however, will not stop until PRT is closed and Frank Kuperman is sitting in his well deserved jail cell. I contacted the Arizona Attorney General's office as well as the Federal Trade Commision about these frauds. The AZ AG office has an open file whereby you can respond. Please use my claim number so the investigation can be consistent. I'm sorry you went through this, but we can stop them. I have over 480 pages of research thus far (including court transcripts of a suit brought by one of their shippers) and have forwarded them accordingly. Good luck to you and all who have been victimized.
