1.I went to pick up my 9 month old son, and he was by himself, on the floor, in a large room. When someone finally appeared, she said she had to go to the bathroom, and that no one else was there to watch him.
2.Gave them another shot. This time my son is 17 months old and very mobile. I got the attention of the kids zone attendant to let my son in. I asked her if she was going to watch him, and she said yes. After letting my son in she just walked off and laid her head down and was not looking at my son at all. We reported this to the manager and owner's assistant, and they said that this was one of their best employees.
In both instances my son could have easily put something in his mouth and choked on it or fallen off of some of the equipment in the room and either died or severly injured himself. No one would have known until it was too late.
My wife and I decided to join this gym because they provided a Kids Zone, where our son would be watched while we worked out together. We understood that all they promised to do was "watch" our son. As simple as that seems, our son was not "watched" twice, and now they will not cancel our contract unless we pay full monthly dues for however many months are left.
