While replacing the filter element, the pump retaining nut came out with the filter allowing several hundred gallons of water to spew out until I was able to figure out what happened. The pump retainer nut no longer locks into place. I called customer service (only way to access is via phone) 43 minutes on hold until I was able to speak to customer service rep. While trying to explain to someone who doesn't want to hear what I was saying, I finally got him to understand part of what I was saying. A new retainer nut is in the mail. I hope that is the problem and not the filter pump. I called back to verify that the part was on the way, because the email response I received gave a unusable link to check tracking. This time I was on hold for 22 minutes to talk to someone else who could care less what I was talking about. All she could do was to tell me what I wasn't doing it right. Finally she said all she knows is the part is in the mail. I had to call the last time because my wife had tried to carefully exchange the filter to keep the 5100 gallons of water clean until they can get around to sending us the replacement part, which will hopefully remedy our problem. This is the worst customer service ever I have ever received.
