This Company started calling me several months ago on a false information claim. Where they get their information, is beyond me. They make 2-3 calls per day. It has become very annoying!

I have contacted them many many times, but to no avail! They cannot as much as find my name nor my social security number in their files, yet continue to ring my phone off the hook. It has now turned to what I term as "harrassement"!

Again today, they called. I called them back, to again complain about their tactics. I got nowhere with the lady I was talking to, as she also could not find my name in their files. I asked to talk to her supervisor, one named a Germain Anderson. As I again explained the problem, he did not know how I should handle this situation. Obviously he as well as all their other call center reps, appear to be incapable of ordinary reasoning. His utterly foolish reasoning that my number can not be removed proves beyond a doubt they all lack expertise and are truly numskulls!

It is quite easily performed to remove a phone number from their calling computers.

I told Mr. Anderson, that I was going to contact my attorney and a lawsuit against them was inevitable. His reply, "you got to do what you got to do"!

I got "no-where" with the call I made this morning. The numskulls just don't care who they hurt!

My action now is to press charges!

#2Consumer Suggestion

Sun, February 18, 2007

I too was called many times by Portfolio. If you will check the Portfolio entries here. You will see what other fine folks suggested I do. Its from Medina, Ohio. Addresses and #'s are there. I wrote a letter stating they need to prove I owe the money to whomever. I stated that it is their responsibility to prove I owe it and not mine to prove I don't. Do Not sign the letter just type your name. They may attempt to copy your signature and use it on something you didn't sign. I insisted that I will make no more comments over the phone and to send me an itemized list of the charges they say I owe. They WILL call again and tell the caller you have written a registered letter to the corporate office. Talk no further to them over the phone and hang up. Make sure to tell this to all in the household. File a complaint with the Attorney General in the State where they are located. Make sure you have the times they called and the day(s). Make sure to send the letter registered mail and keep a copy. The calls WILL end. Good Luck, You will prevail. I received NO MORE CALLS.
