I sympathize with you. But I've honestly never have had big problems with Priceline. Last September I took a 7 day 6 night vacation with my boyfriend to Puerto Rico with hotel and airfare. The whole trip costed me less than $1000 including tax and I stayed in the Presidential suite at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan. The only downside of my trip was that I had a connecting flight in N.C. but the layover time was only about 45min to an hour. In Febuary I used Priceline again to go to Key West Florida for my boyfriends birthday. AGain for 6 days and 5 nights including hotel and airfare. I stayed at the Raddison. It was not as nice as my Puerto Rico vacation and they only took me as far down as to Miami (I had to rent a car and drive over 4 hours to Key West). But I only paid about $900 for this trip. We saved alot of money and you get what you pay for. In May I booked a hotel room that usually cost $199 per night for only $80. If you take time and research carefully you will get a good price. You just have to read all the fine print and you won't get screwed.

Hey Chris-as a corporate travel counselor I have a suggeston. USE A TRAVEL AGENT. They don't play games like the internet search engines (hotwire, orbitz, priceline), do as you request and look out after your trip - the way YOU want it to be at the best cost possible.
