Today I used Priceline to book a hotel to attend a wedding. Searched around site and found an express deal that was o'k. Filled in all requested information. Then, provided the credit card information. Pressed the submit button to purchase @ $270.44. Price of room per night was $116.00, plus tax minus- promotion Summer14. Total was the $270.44.
But,the amount that was thrown back was $290.94. It listed the room as $126.00 per night x 2 nights, plus tax - promotion. So, I was totally surprised and my credit card was charged $ 20.00 extra.

Got Mario RANA01...rude and ,doesn't listen, loves to argue...he doesn't have a supervisor per my request. He's apparently in Customer Care...didn't really seem like he cared. He transferred me to Customer Relations when I didn't care to have him keep being rude.
Transferred to Sue J MUSU0209 Customer Relations also, not a great listener, loves to argue. She kept insisting on her version of info and arguing about policy etc etc. Kept cutting me off...
Asked her how the price changed when I submitted it ? She insisted that she had info that says I booked at the higher price. Apparently there is a glitch. I asked her when the price changed? She kept insisting that I booked at the higher price. She doesn't even show a price had changed. ie that there had ever been a lower price. So, I asked her how often the prices change ? she replied " by the minute".
I quess when I hit the submit button...it took a "minute."
Very unhappy with Priceline, Customer 'Care' and Customer 'Relations'
