Publications Max - Magazine Burst Magazine Burst, possibly Seattle Coffee Company Stole Money from my bank account..I didn't orer anything from them. Possible phishing? Evanston, Illinois
Judging from the fact that their voicemail box is full, and J Berman has cancelled his e-mail, I'm guessing that the rats have all deserted the sinking ship. I am sure that we are all shucks out of luck, but it will be interesting to find out how they obtained information from those of us who had money stolen from our accounts when we didn't even order anything from them. It is a shame that there are people like them out there who prey on hard working individuals such as those of us who were taken. I only hope and pray that no schools, Scouts or any other worthy organizations went through these scumbags for their fund raisers. I can only guess that they somehow had hooked up into a legitimate site and stolen the cc numbers off of it. So much for anything being secure. I worked in corporate security for years, and have always been amazed at the ways people can find to rip others off.
I certainly hope that complaints have been filed in every AG's office in America, since they are an internet based company, they can be considered to be doing business in every state in the US, and probably overseas as well. I don't expect to see my money ever again, but I hope that they get what they deserve. I look forward to a class action suit in the near future, not that we will ever se anything from it.
