I ordered four t-shirts via the Internet. Three of them were advertised as "Fruit of the Loom Premium Heavyweight". When the shirts arrived, all proved
to be made of thin material. In addition, the size was smaller than normal. (I wear a size large very comfortably but these fit very tightly.) In my personal
experience, clothing that runs small in size is poor quality. This surprised me since I expect Fruit of the Loom products to be reasonable quality.
I returned the goods immediately at my own expense and explained that I did not believe the goods were as advertised. The company did refund the price of
the t-shirts. However, the cost included a hefty delivery charge of 5.00 GBP.
The company was not willing to refund this on the basis that in their view the t-shirts were as advertised.
I disputed this via email with a customer service representative of the company but to no avail. I then requested the contact details for the managing director twice from this same representative, but got no reply.
My personal view is that this company does not supply good quality products and I will not purchase from them in the future. Also I am disappointed that they would not refund their shipping charge or give me the details of their managing director.
