Ramada Plaza Resorts rep Nick was interested, saw warning signs after cc given, asked 2b cancelled, rep said was credited but wasn't, disappointed ripoff Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Hello my name is Robert, I received a phone call about a trip for two to three different locations. Sounded to good to be true but I listened. The sales rep. Nick said that they need credit card info just to verify that I am who I say I am, once again I felt nervous, but gave them my info.
I then listened to him describe everything and then I said, nevermind I am no longer interested. The rep. said that there was a one time fee of $150 but since I cancelled then I don't have to pay. ($150 this was new news to me because they claimed they just needed my cc for verification)
Nick had not one but two other sales reps conferenced in on this call all giving me their names. He said that they will send and information packet in the mail and I should receive it shortly. After getting off the phone with Nick I had a very bad feeling so I called my bank, I was told that I had overdrawn from my account of $150.
I called Nick back right away and he said that it was a one time fee and that it will be credited back to my cc. I was furious because at the time I gave him my cc info not only did he say it was to verify me, he also said that I had cancelled before the charge. They charged my cc anyways after I said nevermind, they had the odasity to do something so dirty to me and I can just imagine how many others they have done this to.
I plan to not only press charges but to make it very known that this company is a fraud.
