Randy, your company as well as yourself do by have a reputation of integrity. I have spoken to many professionals who have been in the field and who are widely respected who can confirm my statements. If it walks like a duck and looks like a duck it sure is not a mongoose. You sir, are no mongoose. Instead of passing these posts off as "online bullying" why don't you place your ego aside and try to grow from them? Sure, some are drunken rants from angry customers but not all of these postings can be such ravings. You would be doing yourself as well as yor customers a disservice by dismissing them as such.
Your program allowed a young man who relapsed twice, once overdosing on "legal" stimulant so bad he had to go to the hospital to renter a house that is supposed to feel safe for the other residents. Please, explain to all of us how that, not a higher level of care or dismissal was the better decision? It is the unethical decisions that you make which lead to your tumbling reputation.

If anyone has any concerns about me or our program, I am open to having a conversation. The things written here are nothing more than on line bullying. Our program is known as having a tremendous amount of integrity and I have always been regarded in a very positive light by highly respected people in this business. The numbers offered in this report are not accurate and there is no IRS investigation going on. These reports are only meant to be hurtful and to spread rumors. We have worked with and helped hundreds of people over the past 7 years and it is sad that a few have chosen this method to voice their anger or frustration at us in this manner.

I would like to start by saying that every employee of Hero House truly does care about each individual who enrolls in the program. The problem is not Kelly, the house managers, or any of the Professionals associated with the program. The problem rests with Randy and the, for lack of a better term, insane way he sees the world.
To parents, there are other programs all over the country that can provide your son or daughter with better treatment for their addiction, help to keep them in school, find a job, and learn about real life. Many programs, including a few others in the Atlanta area, offer actual ongoing treatment for less than half the price.
Look at the numbers, in Atlanta HH charges $2400 per head, that's $9600 per house. The house with all expenses is about $2000 per month, $300 for the house manager (yes, that is what they get paid to spend 24/7 with your kids), and there is still 7600 left over from each house to pay an adminstrator and an addiction professional. When you do the math you are better off sending your kids to a place like Sober Living, or Hope Homes.
Oh, and don't let me forget to mention that Randy, his wife, and Hero House are under investigation by the IRS for paying employees as contractors.

I had a run in with this individual( Randy Haveson ) and my experience with him was not pleasant. He wants to appear receptive but underneath it all, you know the guy is a narcissist. I read his comments on this great website and he claims to be the victim of some random angry person who wants to do him harm. Realistically if he knew anything about human behavior or actually read the book of AA( he claims to be in recovery), he would eventually conclude as the book says " whenever someone took a shot at us, if we take the time to remember and examine the situation, we will realize that at some point in the past we stepped on their toes and they retaliated ". This is basic human behavior. Randy Haveson needs to let go of this fantasy that he will become rich just by talking and appearing knowledgeable and should find a real job.

We do very good work with most of the people who come through our doors. We have a great reputation with treatment centers and therapists not just in CA, but around the country. Unfortunately we can't help everyone. Of the hundreds we have worked with over the past 7 years, there are some who feel this is an outlet to voice their anger and frustration. It is sad and disappointing to think some people might find these to have validity.
