When I logged onto my computer this afternoon, I was forced through a purchase of a product called "Privacy Center". The page that came up on my screen would not let me past to access the rest of my computer until the purchase was made. The purchase screen listed
www.microsoft.com/privacy on the left bottom side of the webscreen so you are initially under the impression that Microsoft is forcing the sale. After purchasing the bogus software package, you are left with a helpdesk number of 1-800-507-4599 where you are told the the company Realgoldsoft is their credit card company and not really a software compay - however when you go to the realgoldsoft.com website, they are advertising this software. At any rate, it is a total scam but you can't get past the virus without a forced purchase - so I suggest you immediately cancel your credit if this happens to you, or take your PC and let some use diagnostic tools to attempt to remove this from your computer. I hope they catch the individuals behind this scam.
