Reroof America KC MO,
Terry Meeker, manager, is one of the newer storm chasing locations opened by
J. R. Emrich and Mark Lenzer of Reroof
America Management Corporation, Edmund, Oklahoma. This is part of an apparent ongoing strategy by
Reroof America Contractors to fool homeowners:
They open an office in an empty warehouse or strip mall to create the
illusion that the Reroof America Location is a permanent, local construction
company, while at the same time abandoning a previous storm chasing Reroof
America Corporation office. Its a shell
game that becomes apparent when you closely study the corporate Reroof America
website, or speak to one of their victims.
In Kansas City / Blue
Ridge / Independence / Grain Valley Missouri in October of 2010 there was a
hailstorm. Reroof America Management
Corporation OK shipped Terry Meeker of Grain Valley, Missouri broken down
office machines and furniture from a stormchasing Reroof America Contractors
office that had opened in Georgia a couple years before in response to a bad
storm. Check that Georgia location now
and there is nothing left. All crews and
managers have moved on, and the phones ambiguously forward to Reroof America Oklahoma. What happens when the folks in Georgia have
warranty issues and roofing shingle failures and need help? Who can they rely on?
Terry Meeker Sr. was up to that point a manager in the
Bloomington, Minnesota storm chasing shell game office, sent there by J. R. Emrich
and Mark Lenzer to clean up a previous bad Reroof America Minnesota managers
mistakes and poor customer service. This
is not to say the problems were solved, just bandaged. When the damage control there was done,
Reroof America Management Corporation closed the doors on that location and
moved Terry Meeker to a new storm, yet they left Terry Meekers name and the
Bloomington office appear as still operating.
Check out the Reroof America website (RoofiLeaks!).
This is a common tactic
with Reroof America Management Corporation, repeated over and over
nationwide. Mark Lenzer and J. R. Emrich
really have no intention but to hold bad managers hostage with their
bankroll. By operating ghost offices,
and billing Reroofs bad managers for all mistakes and issues, the unskilled
and unethical Reroof America Corporation managers are encouraged to charge
their poor business practices and mistakes back to the salespeople and
subcontractors, which takes the Reroof America managers like Terry Meeker Sr. off the hook for their costly mistakes.
By cooking their books,
billing materials and labor invoices to the wrong jobs, and creating negative
balances for the sales people, they eventually end up with all the profit,
while leaving former Reroof America salespeople to file Mechanics Liens and
court actions against unsuspecting and lied to homeowners. Roofers are not lawyers, and arent the
sharpest tools in the shed, so most just fade away, with no resources and
recourse, left broke and paying their own expenses so J.R. Emrich and Mark
Lenzer, along with Terry Meeker, can enjoy a fat bottom line.
My firm was encouraged by
Mark Lenzer and Terry Meeker to work the Kansas City hailstorm to help get jobs
established for Terry Meeker in J. R. Emrichs new fly by night location. We had at that time no idea what Reroof
America Corporation was up to. This was
in October 2010; by July of 2011 they had still not compensated us for travel,
lodging, or the work our firm performed in good faith (see the attached documentRoofiLeaks!). They would not share job or billing
informationit was a so sue me attitudeunfortunate for the homeowners in the
middle.
Terry Meeker simply put
off paying for Terry Meeker Sr.s mistakes, and shifted costs from one customer
to another, until Grain Valley Missouri law made the only option for the ripped
off salesperson taking Reroof America KC MO victims to court. Just because Mechanics Liens were too late, due to the stalling tactic Reroof America
employs, the homeowners arent off the hook.
They will eventually be subpoenaed and depositioned, and called as
witnesses, depending on the judgement they may end up paying the bill they had
already paid, all to enrich Terry Meeker, Mark Lenzer, and J. R. Emrichs
bottom line at the expense of the storm victims.
Meeker, Terry, cooperates
with Reroof America Management Corporation, because if he doesnt, he wont
make a living, his production and management skills are so poor. Meeker knows this and runs with it, following
his masters Mark Lenzer and J. R. Emrichs leadership by example.
The Reroof America scam works like this : For example (real life), Terry Meeker Sr. hires
a subcontractor that steals a skylight off a jobsite. There are existing documents (RoofiLeaks!)
that show that Mark Lenzer threatens to take the money from Terry Meeker, who
in turn bills multiple invoices from different jobs to a single job, creating a
negative balance on each job for the salesperson.
This negative balance is
then carried over to a job that was profitable to make it seem like it is not,
thereby creating another negative balance, and so on, a s****.
explanation to the salesperson, simply giving the excuse that no commissions
are owed. This carries through for job
after job, insuring there are no commissions ever paid to the salesperson.
These business practices
are dangerous to storm victims; even though the customer has paid their bill,
the negative balance created allows the salesperson to pursue compensation
against the unsuspecting homeowner because the subcontractor salesperson was
not paid. They actually did this to a 85
year old widow in Independence Missouri (she is listed on the attached exhibitRoofiLeaks!).
Terry Meeker hired a crooked sub, did not supervise, and substandard material
was used for the replacement material (bait and switch)an inspection by a
building inspector caught the deception and held them accountable.
Rather than Terry Meeker
owning up to his bad and deceptive management, Terry Meeker Sr. simply shifted
an invoice to another account, creating a negative balance on two accounts.
This makes his books look like Terry Meeker knows what he is doing, but in
reality he put the old lady at risk for court action.
By the end of the run,
Terry Meeker has preserved his, Mark Lenzers and J R Emrichs bottom line at
the expense of multiple homeowners and ultimately, our firm. We are a sharper tool, and have committed
to collecting from Mark Lenzer, J. R. Emrich and Terry Meeker; unfortunately, a
little old lady may be held accountable and have to pay her invoice twicetough
when on Social Security. Is this the
kind of company that you want to do your storm damage repairs?
This is all enabled by a
sham employment agreement (RoofiLeaks!) which Reroof America cleverly crafted
so that only an attorney can read it, which takes them off the hook not only
for the initial bill, but for the warranty as well. Salespeople dont drive nails, but they are
held responsible for the slipshod work Reroof America KC MO performs for two
years. Try getting a disgruntled, broke
subcontractor back to fix your house. .
. it simply won t happen. And Reroof America always clears a tidy
profit, and moves on to a fresh storm with panic stricken storm victimseasy
pickingsleaving a empty office and a forwarding phone number.
Dont believe the Better
Business Bureau ratingsit is common knowledge that the BBB can be bought
off. There are many more examples
throughout the United States of this nefarious companys business plan. We are looking for former Reroof America KC
MO and Reroof America Management Corporation employees and subcontractors to
pursue damages through possible class action lawsuit and depositions. Contact Ripoffreport.com for more
information.

My name is Craig Wall, and I posted the original complaint. I'm happy to say we have resolved our differences. . .
All complaints and claims regarding Reroof America Contractors and Reroof America Management Corporation have been fully resolved to my satisfaction.
Reroof America Contractors and Reroof America Management Corporation are fair and reputable roofing and construction management companies, and the owner and President, J. R. Emrich, is a fair and equitable business owner, as I try to be. This misunderstanding was largely the result of miscommunications on all sides.
