I ordered a free 14 day trial of a weight loss product, received the product 10 days later, and the information supplied stated had 3 days to cancel, which was on the weekend and left no time to try the product. Not wanting to be billed $89.00 for something that I had not tried, I called on the following Monday(day 4) and cancelled.
They would not recind the $89.00 as I had not called in that three day period (of which they were closed on the weekend). I was angry, and the best that they could do was cancel any further shipments.
I was billed on 8/3/2009, then was billed again on 8/27/2009. My attempts to contact the company on the three numbers provided were all transfered to music for which I sat for 15min with no one answering. I attempted to contact them again today (9/8/2009) with the same outcome. I finally went to my bank and changed the # of my debit card to prevent any further charges.
For a free trial, this was anything but!
