Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I purchased a used vehicle from Scott Lusby (Salesman) at Rick McGill's Airport Toyota. This was the worst buying experience I ever encountered. I had to hire an attorney because they lied to me so many times. Scott Lusby told me what a wonderful, kind person Pat Davis (finance officer) is. What a HUGE LIE that was!!

I was told by Pat Davis my car was financed and everything went through (LIE) and I would receive a bill in the mail from the finance company for the first payment. Instead I got a call from Pat Davis who said I need to come in and make a payment (More down payment) and sign a paper to get my license plate (New Contract).

When I went I was greeted by Scott Lusby who had a big ugly grin on his face and said How are you liking the car. I said its ok, what's this paper I have to sign? he said It's to get your plate. I went into Pat's office to sign the paper. The paper that was all folded up to where only the signature showed was a new contract at a higher payments and included a $2000.00 service plan which I did not want.

Pat said this new deal has to be done in order for my financing through. The contract states that if financing is not approved, they can legally repossess the car. I told her we don't want to do this and she was very upset and said fine "I'll see what I can do". She called me back the next day and she said she has a new deal for me that's in my best interests. I went in to see what it was and it was another con. I said I don't want a new deal I want what we signed for before I handed you $2000.00 for a down payment.

She said I can't get financed under the old deal and I have to sign a new deal that included a $2000 Mechanical Breakdown Protection plan. I said why do I have to pay for something I do not want? She got very rude and snatched the paperwork away and said We are going to just take the car back and you're still going to owe us money. Your down payment doesn't cover the usage of the vehicle. We have the legal right to take the car back and keep your down payment. The choice is yours. I said I will talk it over with my wife and call you tomorrow.

I went to see a Lawyer the next day who called Pat Davis. The lawyer asked her why do you think this original contract is invalid. She said she will have the dealership's attorney contact him, got his phone number and hung up on him. At that point my attorney gave me my legal options.

I told Pat she can have the car back. I don't care anymore, I feel blackmailed. She said she will call and setup to have it picked up. Instead she called me back and said the original deal went through and we will start making payments to Toyota Motor Credit.

I still don't trust her. I still don't know whats going to happen next or believe a word she says. I can not believe this happened. I am shocked and distraught by their flat out deceitful, dirty tricks. This short story is only half of it. A lot more lies and tricks are not included to keep the story short. I will never buy anything from them again and I will tell everyone I ever come across my story about Rick McGill's Airport Toyota. This was a failed Blackmail attempt. I feel sorry for anyone who buys a car from them. THEY ARE NOT A MEMBER OF THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. No surprise there.

I wish i checked out ripoffreport.com before I went to this god awful dealership.
