Justice,
Thank you for posting this. I had a bad experience too with Family Motors/RK Chevrolet. The word is around town that they, RK Chevrolet/Family Motors, have done this to many people for years; they have a bad reputation around town. Somebody should start a class action suit. I bet a lot of people will come forth if it is advertised in the newspaper or on tv. They do not have a good reputation around town. Keep spreading the word. Yes, you're right. They tell people they are pulling their credit report and they don't. They tell you that you are able to build credit by buying a car from them. But, what they don't tell you is that they don't actually report it monthly. They lead you to believe they report it monthly but they don't. You can only build credit when you are making installments each month and it is reported each month. I have heard around town that many people have been scammed by Family Motors/RK Chevrolet for years. Don't trust any of them...especially the guy that responded to your post. Your experience is not the first one. They have done this to others.

To me, they were excellent. They explained everything completely and I understood all of it. I have told people what a great deal I got and they got excited about it.

I would absolutely recommend RK has a place to shop. The whole experience was very plesant. I couldn't have asked for a better salesperson. He was amazing. Ron told us that he wasn't going to push us into something that we couldn't afford, or the payments would be too high. He listened to us, and then worked with us to find the right car. Everyone was very accommodating, and just pleasant to work with. I'm extremely happy with the Kia. The car did perfect on two trips.

This dealership wants to be so-o-o-o helpful, right? They want to show you they are so-o-o honest???
Their internet site shows they will hit you up for a $600 BOGUS, ADD-ON, PHONEY FEE. The BOGUS FEE congame is a MAINSTAY within the Sleazy American Car Business. It works likes this: The slime of the car business don't have the honesty or integrity to advertise the REAL PRICE of the car. So they advertise a FAKE PRICE which they WILL NOT sell the car for and make up the difference with an official sounding but VERY BOGUS phoney fee. In the case of this operation, they call it a "processing fee". All of this PHONEY FEE goes to the dealer and you don't get the car unless you agree to the BOGUS FEE. As such, the BOGUS FEE is part of the price of the car. They could have just as easily included $600 in the figure they claim is the price of the car, but these types have ZERO INTEGRITY to do that. They would rather DECEIVE you as to the price of the car. No wonder you had problems with these people. They clearly demonstrate their level of honesty.
Slime of this type usually try to defend themselves by claiming they disclose all fees. However, a rapist discloses his intent before the act.
No other segment of retail pulls this con-game like the Sleazy American Car Business. When was the last time you paid a "processing fee" at McDonalds or Walmart?
Keep spreading the word about what they have done to you. Tell everybody about their use of bogus, add-on phoney fees. You can very easily print up one page signs and post them anywhere you go to alert people as to the con-games they have perpetrated upon you.
Its obvious, they aren't here to help you, they aren't your friends and they could care less about you. They SCAMMED you. They want to shut you up. They don't want people educating you about how they SCAMMED you.
