RODALE BOOKS IS A SLAMMER! RODALE BOOKS SLAMS CUSTOMERS PUSHY OVER THE PHONE AND SENDS THINGS WITHOUT CONSENT rodale.com (33 East Minor St., Emmaus, PA 18098) Pennsylvania
ATTENTION TO ALL:
The company Rodale Books is a slammer. A slammer is basically a team of sales people who sell you something without getting a confirmation. I must have told this group hundreds of times to stop calling me and "NO" I did not want your products. There whole spiel is to let you try this book for FREE. If you don't like it, you can send it back. They won't charge you and you have no worries. I know how this companies work so I would tell them "NO, Thank you!". Next thing you know, I have a package in the mail and its from them! I would have sent it back, but I was curious to see if they billed me for something I didn't order. I opened the package and low and behold its an invoice. I owed them $40 dollars for something I said "NO" to. They slammed me!
Now, I have to repackage this bull crap and pay to send it back out of my own pocket. I have better things to do with my day then to repackage mail and send it back. Its probably going to cost me $5 dollars because they send me a book, video, and all this junk mail. I am very furious with this company. The customer service line never picks up. Its all automated and you can never talk to anyone.
PLEASE BE AWARE!
This is an outrage and I am warning you ALL of this crime.
