Rolling Impressions of Montgomery Made a mess of my bank account and refused to respond. Montgomery, Alabama
My husband and I own a photography business and signed a 1 year agreement with Rolling Impressions to run an add for us. The only payment they will take is through autodebit from your checking account. We have other autodebits coming out of our account and have a schedule of how much to have in our account in order to cover all the autodrafts. When we signed with Rolling Impressions, we were to get a free week of advertising and the first autodraft wasn't suppossed to happen for 2 weeks after we signed on with them. They made a mistake and drafted our business account immediately, this caused a major disruption in our financial planning and caused other autodrafts from our account to bounce, causing several overdraft fees and putting our business account in debt. I called the man that I signed the contract with and asked why our account was drafted so soon and he said that it was an accounting mistake and he would talk to his manager (the owner of Rolling Impressions) to get it resolved. He gave me a check for the amount drafted plus the overdraft fee and at the time I was satisfied. The problem came when my bank told me that because of the pre-mature bank draft from Rolling Impressions, it caused several other drafts to bounce and Rolling Impressions was responsible for paying those fees as well. When I called Rolling Impressions to tell them this, they never answered the phone, so I left several messages. I called Curtis and Todd (the owner) to resolve this matter and no one responded for several days. Curtis finally called back and said that he did not write checks and it would have to be Todd that gave us the refund for the overdrafts, I told Curtis that I had left several messages to Todd and Curtis said that he had not been able to get a hold of Todd either. My question at that point was "what kind of business is this where the manager can't get a hold of the owner for several days?" unless someone was lying to me. I never heard back from Curtis or Todd and I never got my money back, it was like they skipped town with our money. After leaving several messages, I decided to take legal action to recover my loss from their mistake and my lawer found out that the owner had sold the business to a man named Jeff George. My lawer also discovered that Jeff George is a convicted felon and served prison time. So, not only did the original owner and his manager avoid me and never refunded the money taken from me because of their mistake, he also sold the business to a convcted felon. I am currently discussing legal options with my lawer to recover my stolen money from Rolling Impressions and I would suggest that no business owner ever waste their time or money with these crooks.
