I was looking for rental properties but they were hard to find. I'm a medical student so I travel alot through out the country where ever I am scheduled to do rotations. So for months at a time I must find a place to stay. Roomster has Littered the internet with their garbage advertisement. On every Craigslist, Marketplace, and other various rental sites, there is the Roomster advertisement.
I signed up for the 3 day, $5.95 and thought it was a great deal as I will probably find some property in that time limit. After the 3 days were up and I found NOTHING with this website since no one has a listing on it, I didn't give it a second thought as it was only $5-6 bucks. But when I saw my debit card bill and saw that they charged me $29.95 I WAS FURIOUS!!! I'm not the kind of person who falls for these type of scams and I couldn't believe what they had done!
Please if you are reading this and are in the same boat, Write a complaint!! We were scammed. If you are reading this and are thinking of signing up with Roomster, then don't be a fool. Save your money. These people are crooks. I WISH someone had shown me this Ripoff report website, I would have saved myself the trouble of losing $30 bucks
