salonequipment.net Class Lawsuit, Company is fraudulent, no refund, no furniture Internet
JTE System Inc is the legal corporate name for the company that runs the website www.salonequipment.net. Last year I began to do some research regarding salon furniture, I was planning on opening in July of 2012. The project had already been delayed due to construction and other factors. When I stumbled upon salonnequipment.net I thought they had great furniture, I am located near LA so I even went to the showroom to check out their modern and trendy equipment. I had a view in my mind of how my salon would look once the furniture arrived. I ordered 6 styling chairs, 6 styling stations, 2 shampoo bowls, and 1 reception desk from the company in May of 2012, I was told that everything would arrive in 3-4 weeks. After 4 weeks had past I called the company to ask where my furniture was and they said it was delayed maybe another couple of weeks, I was told I would get a refund of $300, (never happened).
A couple of weeks past and still no furniture, it took JTE System INC 2 months to get me SOME of my furniture. This delayed my opening by at least a month. Furthermore the main part of my furniture which is the styling stations have still not arrived. I had been promised they would arrive in a week in 2 weeks, a few days, I called and called the company and many times I got no answer and no respond. The manager "Bobby" and the lady that tracks shipment, "Judy" are some of the rudest and most disrespectful people I have had the pleasure of speaking to. I have contacted the police, Attorney General of Chicago (the company is based out of Chicago), BBB, and my own bank, none of them have been much help. The companies last words to me were, "You wrote bad things about us and that's why we will not refund your money or send you your stations." I asked if legal action would be best and I was told by Bobby that "Yes, let's do legal action."
It is now January of 2013 and I have been open for 5 months, I am lacking stations and had to buy other furniture in order to open my salon. JTE System is one of the most fraudulent and disrespectful companies I have ever been in contact with. They put new salon owners or owners that are remodeling their salons in such a bind, they know that these people are using a good amount of capital to invest in salon furniture (I paid almost $9,000). JTE System knows these people are busy and tight for money and therefore will be less inclined to pursue legal action, they have an "F" rating on the BBB website and yet are somehow able to get operating and rip people off. It must stop.
If anyone has been ripped of by JTE System INC or knows of anyone that has I encourage you to email me at (((REDACTED))) we must get together and file a class lawsuit against this horrible company.
