Maybe you need to stop smoking cigarettes so you can take care of business.
Leave your credit card unattended on a restaurant table in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex????? You really must want it stolen. Don't you know about the wait staff and busboys who carry the little scanners that they can conceal in their hand or apron pockey ans, etc. and they can run your credit card through it and steal all of your credit information, including your identity??? And after work, some guy will download that information and auction it off to international criminals, terrorists, undesireables using the world wide web?????
How incredibly stupid and naive a thing to do. It is like tossing your purse into South Dallas on Saturday night!
Nobody in their right mind leave their money out where anybody can grab it. There are guys in South Dallas and in Oak Cliff who would have every cent on that credit card maxed out before you even knew it was gone,
Nobody does that -- and I doubt if you did either.
Sounds like to me you felt that your credit card might be declined and you might have been scamming so that you could eat steak for free. Times are hard.
This whole story, from front to back , sounds like a yuppie scam or something a Jerry Springer guest would concoct.

Well, I wish you would make up your mind. Is this a fake report or am I just looking for anyone to be mad at? It sounds to me like you are a representative of Saltgrass but just like your service, you post as a "consumer" instead of just doing what you are supposed to do.
Nice try, but it's not going to fly around here.

Seriously this has to be fake. You have your credit card on the table and leave to go smoke. Seems like if you want to get upset at anyone..perhaps you should get mad at your guest.
After all your guest could have said that you would be back and don't box it up. Your guest could have stopped the waitress from taking your Credit Card. Your guest did not have to sign the receipt.
As for the steak, it is very possible due to the length of time it could go from Medium-Rare to Medium, after all the steak is hot and continues to "cook" for a while. Now if you wanted to make it more of an issue you should have said that it went from Medium-Rare to Well-Done.
This report makes it sound like you are just promoting another business.
