Fraser J Karlsen advertised a Black Mercedes convertable on Autotrader.co.uk, he advertised it under the dealer name (www.salvagemanagementuk.com) He stated the car had accident damage and would provide turn key solution if I pay GBP2500 for the parts. His mother Judith J Karlsen was on director report and money was transferred to the company so din't think much off it until the day came I had to collect the vehicle. He said vehicle isnt ready and it had enjin issues that they have to fix. I made it clear that he had to deliver or refund as per our contract. After couple of weeks of brushing me off he went silent just before I sent a team in to collect the money he promised top pay money back within 2 weeks. 2 Weeks passed and then he didnt even pick up his phone but sms'd to say he doesn't have any money so I can come for him. We will get money but just want to warn other people of this person and company

Response to scammer

It is great to see the scammer is actually responding because he didn't respond to mails but as you can see his responses are very vague and it seems he believes his own lies. His details, company details have been submitted to the national fraud bereau, consumer direct and action fraud. We have also instucted our solicitors to act.

Not sure what he means with deposit is a deposit and that we went outside of bounderies. There was a contract that he should deliver a car or return deposit if we didn't receive the vehicle. He then stated in an official mail that he can't deliver car so will return deposit (mail below) and then he wrote sms that he is bankrupt. The good news is that our team is onto his. Feel free to review mail below and make up your own mind, just want to protect the public. As stated this guy is a scammer sent on Thu 8/23/2012 1:54 PM:

"Ben, Due to the ongoing nature of the vehicle and its repair taking longer than expected. We are going to issue you a full refund of the 2500 transferred by yourself as downpayment and initial cost of donig the repair. With regards to timeframes for the refund we are awaiting funds in and as soon as these are in youll have full funds refunded. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
Kind Regards
Fraser J Karlsen BSc (Hons)"

He then said he is selling his mother's car to get payment back to me, after couple of weeks a sent sms saying he is "skint"  I'm also investigating if he has an BSc (Hons) and will update this forum.
