San Juan Star Express did a move for me from the Bronx, NY to Cape Coral Fl in March 2010.  The household goods were one week late in arrival.  A curved glass to a curio cabinet was broken and a 23" Dell Monitor with speaker attachment was stolen.  They have not responded to any phone calls they will not even respond to the insurance company Great American who is handling the claim.  The Better Business Bureau of NJ has them listed as out of business which is not true because they make household moves from NY, Fl, and Puerto Rico. They are totally unrealiable and do not pay there workers, they use different drivers and they maintain no contact with them, they do not tag the items or package the furniture correctly and there workers stole an item from me.  They will not answer any telephone calls and they have no intention of settling a claim that is about $500.00. Don't use them don't trust them as they will ripp you off.

Do you guys pick up the phone when people trying to call you do you guys even bother to all and explain y is it that the furniture is taking long cuz I've been trying to call and no one picks up and no one bothers to call an explain when d furniture gets here if u ask me very unprofessional n irresponsible

We at San Juan Star Express handle every complaint with respect and understanding.

1)Cape Coral FL
The client from Cape Coral was PAID PROMPTLY as per insurance timetables.
It
was an unfortunate situation that we owned up to and compensated above
what the client asked for which is UNHEARD of in the industry.
Attached is the proof of cashed check payment shortly there after.

2)Elizabeth NJ
The
move from Elizabeth NJ failed to mention that the entire move was
ABANDONED by the customer for OVER A YEAR because they could not afford
to make even the minimum of payments. Many items after a year were
donate to a local Pentecostal Church and the personal affects like boxes
were retained because it would brake our hearts to hear that family
photos or heirlooms were discard. Only after all that transpired with NO
CONTACT from the customer for a year did the customer finally approach
us for the remainder of the items.

3)Clifton NJ
The delivery
from Clifton we think to be completely unreasonable. Shipping to Puerto
Rico is overseas shipping and the vessel alone takes 9 days. We are
always up front about our door to door services being 4-5 weeks
(industry standard).
-2weeks to load.
-9days for the vessel
and
-1 week to unload.
= 4-5weeks
