It is true that this man Raymond Cruz is taking money and giving back nothing! His main target are baby boomers and expats looking to retire in Costa Rica. The laws there do not protect the victims and these type of crooks keep getting away with it. What is worst, there is an expats forum, www.expatexchange.com that he is using to lure in his victims. It appears that the owners of this forum site are doing nothing to find out anything about this kind of people that use the forum to perpetrate their crimes.
Who knows, maybe they are part of it too. Please do yourself a favor and use extreme caution when dealing with this fellow, he is very smooth and of course has invested in getting knowledge about the country to appear to be an expert with lots of years of experience. One of the words he uses frequently are "New operations manager" or "New sales director" of the bogus projects he advertise. It is all ran by him.
After finding out that there was no houses, all photographs were faked and he has no ownership of the land, I requested my deposit back and he only gave me the round around with false promises, no money back at all. The report to the local authorities is just sitting at some detective's desk who said that the budget at their office is very short and that they have to give priority to other crimes. Go figure, maybe they are on the take as well.

I am one of the many that have filed cases against you and your fraudulent operation. The recordings of phone calls, old phone numbers that you have used in the past plus any other documentation are sitting at the office of one of the detectives of the OIJ (FBI of Costa Rica). Perhaps waiting for a bribe to get out of her chair and do her work.
Your response is pathetic same as your operation which now is in the process of changing. The web sites that this scammer announces are suspended, the same ones he has posted in his rebuttal report.
I will gladly meet you again, but I am not going to travel far for it, unlike you, I am really busy with my legit Coffee business.
You are more than welcome to come to my place, It is not too far from where you claim to live at and we will meet face to face, me and Mr S Wesson.
You can come to my little town in Bejo Burgo in Puriscal and ask for the Italian with the coffee business, everybody knows me, since you are whining about disclosure of info. Bring all the cops that you want.
About your offer for anyone to email you and send their phone number, this is how you hijack any individual info giving you an advantage by knowing as much as you can about their financials. Last time I exchange emails with this crook I got sent back tons of viruses and trojan horses.
Sooner or later your scam will see an end Mr Cruz, if that is your real name.

Whoever this is, you need to be honest. You are a competitor badmouthing me, not a client or someone who has ever done business with me. That's why they kicked you off of expat exchange :-)
If you are "real", then post any actual details that can be verified. Your real name, your current email and phone numberwhen it was that you sent me a deposit, show us a copy of the wire, or pictures of us together, the name of the "detective" you filed the complaint with, ANY FACTUAL DETAILS AT ALL.
You know they don't exist, that's why you do not post anything. And no, I will NOT pay you $ (as you asked before) to take this complaint down, I do not pay blackmail.
Also, tell me where to meet you in San Jose, I am not shy, LOVE to meet you, as libel and slander is against the law in Costa Rica, and they will arrest you :-)
Until then, like I mentioned before, I have real business to do, and real clients (over 80) that are happy with the Investments they have made with me.
If anyone really cares, email me with your phone and name, and I will put you on the phone with real clients.
See, a real person puts his contact info for all to see.
