Complaint Review: SANFORD BROWN COLLEGE - Houston Texas

This incident portrays how campus crimes are thrown under the rug at SANFORD BROWN COLLEGE HOUSTON, TX. I was criminally assaulted at Sanford Brown Institute Houston, TX and the way the Institute administration makes mockery of the law is really incomprehensible. This complaint addressed to the Director of Education SANFORD BROWN INSTITUTE, Houston, TX explains the whole story: (This is the original complaint submitted to the Director of Education Sanford Brown Institute) The Director of Education Sanford Brown Institute. WRITTEN GRIEVIANCE I a student of Pharmacy Technician Training Program bring the following to your notice: On 14th February, 2008 at about 1.30 PM I went to a room on third floor of the institute to make a photocopy of one of the pages of the POST MID-TERM EXAMINATION PAPER of Module A. As I was about to make a photocopy a lady appeared from the back room speaking very contemptuously asking me that if I was a student, to which I replied YES I AM. She told me in a very rude tone that I was not allowed to make photocopies at her machine and I should go down to use the photo copier. I told and showed the lady that I had only one page to photocopy at that the lady snatched the paper out of my hand shouting literally that I was making illegal copies of the examination paper. I tried to explain to the lady that it was a POST-TEST PAPER but she took it for granted that I was committing an illegal act frowning and looking contemptuously at me and making sarcastic remarks. In the room in front of the place where the photo copier is placed was another lady sitting who never bothered to check me while I was trying to operate the machine. With the paper in hand the lady went into the front room while I was trying to tell this lady of my part of the story that I was not doing anything illegal, a man appeared from the back room wearing black colored dress ( sports shirt and pants) who shoved his elbow forcefully straight into my chest and shouted at me STAY AWAY. Had I not moved myself away his elbow would have struck me right into my chest. The lady neither bothered nor tried to stop that man and called the Director of Education telling him that a student is using the photo copier un-authorizedly and illegally making copies of an exam paper. This lady told me scornfully that I should go to the fifth floor to see the Director of Education. I went to the fifth floor to report the incident to the Director of Education where the Incharge of the Training program was also sitting. I explained to the Director of Education the whole events that happened, and the incharge of the program sent an instructor with me to locate the person who tried to criminally assault me on campus but that man had disappeared. This incident involves the Program Director Surgical Technician Training Program, and another lady who is her secretary and her husband and myself. I came to know through the instructor that that lady is the Program Director of Surgical Technician Training program and upon asking from her that who the man was , she very proudly replied that it was the POLICE my husband. This whole incident is very nerve shattering and deploring. The Program Director Surgical Technician Training program categorically discriminated me and behaved with me as a RACIST looking down at me degradingly and insulting me without any genuine reason. I have never been to that room before neither have I ever used that photo copier nor do I know that it was the office of the Program Director Surgical Technician Training. The attempted criminal assault on me at the campus during school hours by her husband and shouting at me by him is a criminal act that could have been fatal to my life as I am a hypertensive patient. This act of criminal assaulting at the campus and during campus hours by the husband of the Director Surgical Instructor Program is unwarranted and criminal which needs proper action in accordance with the four corners of the statute. The unwarranted and derogatory behavior exhibited towards me by the Program Director Surgical Technician Training Program needs to be addressed by Sanford Brown Institute. The first thing after this incident that tasted sour on my tongue was the attitude of the instructor who went with me to locate the person. He terrified me with all possible consequence trying to scare the s**t out of me rather than consoling me. The Director of Education to whom I submitted the written complaint hardly bothered to take any action against the culprits because he was discriminating me. I was sort of apprehensive because of the threats of that instructor, But now and then inquired from the Director of Education about the fate of my complaint, to which his diabolical reply was that it has been forwarded to the Corporate office for further action. In the mean time I had my certification examination which took a while and soon after the examination I contacted the Director of Education but he had left the Institute and in his place a Pakistani doctor is now working as the DE. On asking him about the outcome of the complaint he declined that none has been handed over to him by the out going DE. My complaint of criminal assault on me which I should have reported there and then to the police but did not do it as the DE assured me that in case a report is lodged it will bring bad name to the institute. I think I was too naive in reporting the incident to the police as I was not aware of the statutory limitation during which the matter can be taken up with the police. The DE was too sharp who kept on pending till the statutory limitation had lapsed. The new DE after receiving my complaint was legally and ethically bound to reply me which he never did. (Can any one tell me that a criminal incident happened in February, 2008 can be taken up with the law till what time) Before being in module A I had been through Modules B to E. This is the worst night mare of my life where I was about to be killed in the college campus and the college administration was and is bent upon making mockery of the law.
