Scott Free Mobile Mechanic Mike Gonzales Mike Gonzalez Rip off Fraud False Advertising Failed to Fix car or leave in a drivable condition left car in worse condition than before work had started completely f**ked over ripped off $350 wasted to leave car in WORSE condition! Las Vegas Nevada
Was having car trouble which I believed to be related to the starter. First it sounded like a rattling sound, unfortunately I put off repairs and the problem eventually got worse. The car would do this sometimes 3 or 4 times before turning over and finally made a high pitched sound like a drill and failed to turn over. I was refered to a mobile mechanic and unfortunately contracted his services.
The mechanics name is Mike Gonzalez and his phone # is 702-741-9202, he works for Scott Free Mechanics in Las Vegas. He told me that the problem was indeed the starter at which point I paid for the part. He then spent the better part of the day replacing the "faulty" part. Apparently he put the car back together with such haste that it was left in worse condition than before. $350 in labor wasted and a part unnessarily bought to leave my car in worse condition than before and in undrivable order! The car would shake and sputter and stalled out which it did not do before his work! I since have found out that the drilling sound is back and it is in doubt as to to whether the a new starter was even the problem. At least I have the part to return, I have been left no recourse as Mr Gonzalez demanded I paid him in cash for a job that clearly had gone wrong even though I assured to pay him in full once the car was in drivable condition.
Obviously I should have paid him with a cancelled check and could have saved this money for nothing. I feel totally extorted by this experience and will continue to blog him relentlessly daily untill I recover my $350 spent for nothing at the point of equitable remedy I will gladly take the posts down. Obviously the damage to his reputation should be worth a lot more than $350 eventually. I hope to solve this quietly. I have been left with no other recourse to get back my wasted money than this.
Mike if you are reading this take notice at this point I have been done wrong and am left with a car that does not run. I will meet you in a public place only and make sure you bring the $350. I hope to solve this problem quietly and with minimal damage to your reputation as I realize that these repairs apparently were beyond your lrvrl of expertise and these things do unfortunately happen sometimes but I cannot allow this in good conscience to be the final outcome as it currently stands. When I recieved the call that you couldnt start your car in the parking lot. "It no longer would start"; I came with all of my tools.At that point I replaced your starter. I fixed the promblem that you were conserned about"your car wouldn't start".
I spent all day replacing the starter in a parking lot. I bought you lunch and I though you were satisfied with my services.
Your car started and you drove away. I warranty all of my work for 90 days. If you had another issue; you had my phone number. Call me. You car needed a starter. And that is how you drove out of the parking lot. As far as the ratteling noise. You just stated it was present before I touched your car. You never mentioned any ratteling to me. You said It wouldnt start. Well I fixed it!!!
As far as reputations go. I think you should reconsider that thought. As you offered me steroids for payment and that is why I wanted CASH only!!
