Sean Hoade was given access to a company laptop and upon termination of his independent contract with the company did not return the laptop. He further claims it was a "bonus" or a "gift".
The laptop was purchased by the company and is in the companies name.

I am tired of this fighting over untruths Mr. Denlinger said in anger over bad reviews I gave his company, my former employer. Even though there is a lawsuit pending started by me in this matter, I release my anger against him. He hurt me once, but in holding on to my anger and hatred due to what happened, I have allowed this act to hurt me again and again.
I forgive you, Jim. I am sorry that our escalating anger toward one another led you to speak these untruths, and I am sorry for unleashing my own words in anger against you in response.
In the words of Lord Buddha:
"He abused me, he beat me,
He defeated me, he robbed me."
In those who harbor such thoughts,
hatred never ceases.
"He abused me, he beat me,
He defeated me, he robbed me."
In those who do not harbor such thoughts,
hatred finds its end.
I let go of these thoughts and harbor them no longer. Let hatred find its end.

The "laptop" (it's a Surface tablet) was paid to me as a bonus. It's registered in my name, I have the extended warranty on it in my name, and it has been non-stop in my possession since I was terminated for whistleblowing. I had borrowed a computer and monitor from EBuyhouse, and I signed paperwork with all serial numbers noted to borrow it (the paperwork being handled by James Denlinger himself), as per company protocol. When I was terminated, this equipment was given back immediately to a company representative, John Black, who checked it and handed over my final (shorted) paycheck. No mention was made of the tablet, because it was a bonus, not a loan. That is, until I reported Ebuyhouse for its many (alleged) unlawful activities.
So, if it belongs to the company, please call the police and come and get it. But you haven't, and you won't, because your claim is both false and libelous.

I asked James Denniger and John Black of Ebuyhouse Inc. to take diwn their libelous claim about me. They refused, blackmailing me by saying they could remove the false accusation if I repaid a bonus paid to me before my termination for whistleblowing. They further said they would call the police if I didn't meet their demands. Of course they never did, because no theft was committed.
Here is one particularly extortionate exchange:

James Denlinger:
Per advice from my attorney, the Law Offices of XXXXXXXX, I am alerting you to the fact that you have until 5:00 p.m. Pacific time on November 20, 2018 (the day of this writing) to cease and desist all libelous actions regarding me; and to remove the false "Ripoff Report" from that website. You also have until that time to post a retraction everywhere your original libelous post appeared, including on "Ripoff Report."
The claim of libel rests upon these false and defamatory statements made in your Twitter post and and/or on the "Ripoff Report":
That Sean Hoade created, operated, or completed a "scam" Kickstarter campaign.
That Sean Hoade created, operated, or completed a "scam" GoFundMe campaign.
That Sean Hoade is in possession of any equipment "in Ebuyhouse's name."
That Sean Hoade committed theft of any kind.
That Sean Hoade signed an Independent Contractor agreement which was terminated.
Additionally, upon publication of these retractions and the removal of the "Ripoff Report" reference, I will not link to or publicize same. It will be enough for me to know they exist and for the "Ripoff Report" to be removed.
Let's call a truce here. I have no desire to pursue any legal action at this point, and I would think that you personally and Ebuyhouse as a company would rather not be forced to pay damages and all legal bills. I believe you would rather "get on with it" than continuing your actions involving the tort of libel against me. If I am wrong in this, then so be it.
You may contact me today only (November 20, 2018), and only to alert me that the offending post has been removed from "Ripoff Report" and that retractions have been published anywhere the post libeling me appeared. If this does not happen today (November 20, 2018), XXXXXXXXX will contact you shortly, as you will be personally named in the lawsuit in addition to Ebuyhouse, Inc. itself.
Thank you,
Sean Hoade

If I give you what you want, what happens then?

I imagine there won't be reports out there. We have contacted people out there to help us get what we want. I will make a phone call and tell them they can cease.
Yeah, pretty much straight-up blackmail. I haven't filed suit yet because my lawyer is waiting to see if even one person I know or with whom I'm doing business sees this post, they're all locked and loaded. I really hoped they would take this false accusation down (by the way, "Hugo Navik0v" is a name I write novels under. No idea why they're mentioning that pseudonym except that they are not the smartest).
As much I regret doing it, since I want to leave having been involved with such a place behind me, I see that they are doubling down on their lies about me, so I'm telling the truth about them. Here's my Yelp! review:
As of this writing, this "business" has been reported to:
* The IRS for (alleged) tax fraud
* U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for (allegedly) failing to comply with federally mandated immigration employment law
* Clark County (Nevada) Police for (alleged) attempted blackmail
* The US Department of Justice for (alleged) identity theft
* Attorneys for (alleged) libel law violation for posts on several "scammer" websites
* Nevada Board of Realtors for (allegedly) offering real estate services without a broker's license
* Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media sites for (alleged) violating anti-spam policies
* and Kickstarter has already suspended their fraudulent $50,000 campaign for a product that, it is alleged, was never going to be manufactured or distributed.
The owner, Hu Zhou, is a Chinese national who recently was (allegedly) forced to flee from the US back to China.
I was an employee fired for whistleblowing. Avoid this place like the plague; it is beyond SHADY.
I haven't written a Ripoff Report scam alert on them because, frankly, this site is an abomination. Thank you for reading this rebuttal.
