 I purchased a chest type KENMORE freezer just about 8 or 9 months ago, late October or
November 2011, from the local SEARS Outlet Store here in Carrollton Texas. The freezer stopped working about 2 months ago. I went to the SEARS Outlet store where I bought it and was told that since I did not buy an extended warranty that it only had a 1 year manufacturing coverage on it and that I would have to call
the manufacturer to get an appointment for evaluation. They would charge a trip fee to check the freezer and if they decided that, it could be repaired that I would have to pay them and be reimbursed by the manufacturer. I grew up with SEARSs  products and they at one time had a good name for their products, but no more.

I will never, and I repeat never purchase another item of any kind from SEARS. I am also going to encourage my friends and employees from Searss purchases and would ask anyone reading this post to not buy SEARS products as well.
