Signature Tax Services Telemarketers at signature tax services cheated me!!! new york New York
This company promised me that they would be able to make a deal with the irs because they are "connected'. They told me that their clients are "almost" always approved for offers in compromise and I would be an easy fit to get my debt cut down by at least half. When I asked why another tax company I had spoken to said it would a long shot for me to get an offer in compromise, they told me they have "connections in the irs that the other company did not". I could get at least $25,000 knocked off by their figures, in hind site i was blined by the thought of the money I would save and should have paid more attention to what was going on. I paid them $8k flat fee, they assured me thier fee would be a fraction of what I would save in tax debt. I submitted teh offer and got flatly rejected, now i can do nothing as the irs has all the info they need and i have no ability to negotioate anything. The guy i dealt with Scott was a slick sales guy that promised me something that he knew I had no chance of getting just to get my money. I signed up with them because of their false promises. Dont be like me dont believe a word that comes our of their mouths. they are a fly by night company that paid for a couple big names to use on their advertising. They are a telemarketing/internet marketing company, you may see big important names and titles but they dont actually do anything the work (if they did really do any) is outsourced, something i found out when they forgot to change cover sheet on a fax they sent me. The names they use on their web sit and ads do not handle any cases. they are a shady company that relies on heavy advertising instead of actually spending time and money on understanding the tax system STAY AWAY FROM SIGNATURE TAX SERVICES
