Riversdad did you go back in an UNCHECK the checkbox that authorized the automatic payment. The check box comes up and you have to accept it at first when making the charge on a credit card. If you do not go back in and uncheck it the automatic payment authorization is still in effect.

Hi Gary and Kate -
We apologize that you weren't aware of our auto-renewal policy when you previously signed up with us. Our Terms and Conditions does include this policy which gives us the right to charge your credit card when your subscription is up for renewal. We are able to remove your debit card information from your account file. If we do it may take longer for you to receive your refund. If you would like us to review your account with you, feel free to send us an email with your contact info to [email protected] and we'll be happy to help you there.
Thanks,
SiriusXM Digital Care Team
Hi Riversdad -
Are you being charge for a paper statement that you are not receiving? If so, let us remove that fee for you from your bill. Send us an email to [email protected] and we will be able to take care of that for you there.

Regardless of whether they sent me something or not, it's still an unauthorized charge to a card they've never been authorized to keep on file. If I did default, they would have to file a lawsuit against me and a civil court judge would have to grant them permission for them to take money from my account.
PS...Google "SNL comments section skit" and watch the video that comes up. It's a Hulu link. I imagine if this were a real game show, you could easily qualify to be a contestant!

Around 2 months before your subscription expires you received a notice from them with the radio ID and the fact that your subscription expires in 60 days. You always have the option to call them or cancel the service on their website.
You received this but probably threw it away because you thought it was junk mail that you never bothered to give a second glance.

It's an additional charge to receive paper bills so I don't actually receive anything in the mail from Sirius. Ever. I do receive a notification in my inbox every other month, usually around the 26th. So no, I don't believe I left anything out at all. A quick Google search of "SiriusXM billing practices" clearly shows that I'm not the first subscriber that's had this issue. But thanks for your input. Really. I'm sure many members of this website have found you just as helpful as I have.

You forgot to mention the fact that you were mailed something stating that your renewal time was approaching and if you did not want to renew then you should contact them to have them you did not want to renew.
