On May 28, 2009, I looked SMCorp up on the internet after seeing a commercial for it on TV. I have an established retail business that specializes in Fantasy and Fairy items and I have been looking for new products. I had also been advised by an acquaintance that had joined SMC earlier in the week that they had many products fitting my needs. I was immediately contacted by a sales rep after requesting more information. After a hard sell that promised coupons, and free merchandise almost equaling the $438.99 that I would pay for a gold membership I considered it. I was also told I'd be getting a website, even though I told them I had an established one already and didn't need it. I agreed to the gold membership, because I was told I could look over the materials, and if I didn't like the program, I could get a 100% refund, no questions asked.

After giving my credit card info, and having the sale put through, I was told I had a specific number of days to contact my "business coach" or I would have several repercussions if I didn't. I told the representative that I would call the business coach, upon receiving the membership packet and catalogs. The packet and catalog didn't arrive for over week, Even though I had agreed to call this business coach immediately, SMC reps would call me, sometimes several times a day, including Memorial Day. They called early in the morning, and late at night. "Did you get it yet?""Did you get it yet?""Did you get it yet?" I kept saying, "no, I'll call you as agreed when it arrives" I told them when my mail came, and that an elderly person with dementia lived in my house, and that the calls were causing us hardships, and the calls still came.

By the time I got the materials I was more than ready to be quit of SMC. I called for return number the day I got the packet. It took until the first week of July to get a refund even though I sent it the day I got it, which was 6/2/09. The products in the catalog were severely over priced, not of quality, and available from many other wholesale resources. the acquaintance that had joined SMC before me, had the SMC provided website, but had to shut it down within 2 months because of cost. She has, to date, made $0. She has spent well over $2000.00. I can't see how anyone can make a profit selling low quality goods, that are already overpriced, and that have no unique qualities. There are many people selling the exact same product at the same venues. Skip SMC.
