August 13, "Steve" from Smith Brothers Appliance Repair came to my house to fix my dishwasher. He charged me a 100.00 deposit, and after waiting 6 weeks I called him. Finally after a week of back and forth, "Steve" claims that he didn't have the model number yet, the model number is on the receipt he left with us. Which also means he never ordered the part. He said it would be in in a week.
Another week goes by, and again no follow up. So I called... no follow up. This morning I called again spoke to "Steve" who states that he called the manufacturer but that they never got back to him. Meanwhile 2 months have gone by, and no sign of this getting resolved.
Please note that when you call their phone numbers, you get an answering service. No one from the company, associated or employed by the company takes your call.
Seems to me that these people take your deposit and run. I will be filing a report with the BBB. Nothing but liars and thieves here.
