Like many others, I had a loan with Sonic that I defaulted on. I put a stop-payment on one of my debits and they told me I needed to send the full amount by my next payday or I'd be turned over to collections. I did not pay, and they extended me again, but I did not pay again because they refused to work out an arrangement with me.
They tried to garnish my wages, but they didn't even provide an address, so my employer had no idea where to send the money and couldn't get in contact with Sonic so they just gave the money back to me. I've spoken to several people who say by no means should I send the money by Western Union or Money Gram since they refuse to give me a physical address. I thought about just sending a portion to see if they claim they received it.
They say they don't take partial payments, but I'm sure they won't refuse money if sent to them. I'd rather they just turn me over to collections, but I know they won't do that because then they'll be exposed for the scam that they are!
