I do not know this dealership or the manager named here but I do know the person that the car dealer manager says is the poster of the original post:
"Ms.
Heathertt (aka Anthony Fanelli) has a personal problem with me because
I reported him to TxDot for being a non-bonded mover who is unlicensed
and uninsured after he scammed me during a recent move by using the
name of a reputable moving company located in San Antonio."
I totally believe this. Anthony Fanelli ripped me (and many others) with his scam moving company that operates under various names including Budget Movers, Careful Carriers, Half Price Movers, Minute Man Movers, etc. in Houston area. He posts ads on craigslist and other free advertising websites and gives quotes for ~100-200 dollars. Then at the time of move gives a thick contract to the customer and downplays it and/or intimidates the customer to sign it. After he loads everything in his truck he invoices the customer for SEVERAL times higher than the quoted price. for me it went up from $150 to $900 for a one Bedroom move of ~4 miles in Houston. He claims the extra charge is for wrapping furniture as per the contract. He demands cash or money order only and threatens that if not paid in full he will take the items to storage and after that will auction them off. His business is total scam and fraud. I have filed with Houston Better Business Bureau, Texas Department of Transportation, and Harris county district attorney and hope they can stop his fraudulent business. But for now, people be careful and do your homework before hiring a moving company (or any contractor for that matter) and read the contracts carefully before you sign them. Please note that this scam moving company keeps changing names and phone numbers but the practice stays the same. Please be careful and inform others too.

Wow! These are some wild allegations about me all coming at one time from one person. For just one moment, let us think logically about this complaint filed. First, I am the sales manager and spend most of my time at the sales desk and rarely assist a customer from the beginning. Everybody knows at a car dealership, the customer starts with a sales consultant. Because of this, I find it highly unlikely I was the one assisting this consumer. Second, I highly value my career with this dealership. I have worked with this company for almost seven years and love it here. I would never jeopardize my career by coming on to a customer, employee, or even anybody from one of our affiliates. This dealership has a very strict policy on both employee / customer dating, as well as, drug use. All employees are required to sign a zero-tolerance drug abuse contract at the time of employment and are subjected to random drug screening. If a customer could smell weed, than I'm sure my boss, among others employees at the dealership could smell marijuana as well. If this were true, I would have been terminated. However, because of this complaint I did take a random drug test and passed. I have never been busted and I have no criminal record. If I did, I would not have been employed at this dealership, and especially not employed in a management position. I certainly would never brag about any legal trouble to somebody whose business I am trying to earn. As far as the accusation of attempting to sell false identity, how could this be true? I have stated that I have been with the company for almost seven years. If I supposedly tried to sell fraudulent identity to somebody I had just met, wouldn't I have tried doing this before to somebody I know and trust first? If I did, there is about a ninety to one hundred and twenty day time frame before you are caught, and you do get caught when you sell a false identity. These finance companies have advanced ways, that I don't even know about in detail, to determine fraud. They work very diligently to make sure the loans they process are free of any fraud. Ninety percent of the time, fraud is found before one hundred and twenty days and the perpetrator is always prosecuted. Really, I have seen FBI agents on a stake-out at a neighboring dealership one time. Besides, I love this company and would NEVER to anything to jeopardize my career with them, or but the business at any liability. Last, I just want to point out how this is not a credible source. Look at the use of vocabulary. Most, but not all, seven hundred plus credit score customers are, at least, semi-intelligent. Most of the good credit customers have done their research and therefore are normally more educated because of their research. This is why, for the most part, they maintain a good credit rating. These customers normally do not use slang like busted, or weed. Normally the people who use this slang are people with experience in these areas to learn the slang and use as their normal vocabulary. Furthermore, look at the use of grammar. At one point, there are seven sentences together without any punctuation. Really, does this sound like a complaint from a seven hundred plus credit customer, or even somebody who graduated high school? Every single one of these allegations are completely false, and this is a factitious customer who never stepped foot in this dealership. Heathertt does not even exist. Ms. Heathertt (aka Anthony Fanelli) has a personal problem with me because I reported him to TxDot for being a non-bonded mover who is unlicensed and uninsured after he scammed me during a recent move by using the name of a reputable moving company located in San Antonio. I just wish he would have directed his problems to me and me only. I can take the punches, but my employer did nothing to him and they do not deserve this. He should have left this dealership out of this matter. However, it is his First Amendment right to post whatever he wants on an internet forum. Sadly, it can be true or false and there is no recourse on anything posted here. That is freedom of speech. If you want to buy a vehicle from here, I personally guarantee you will be treated with respect and dignity. Nor, will we lose anybody's business over price. If you believe any part of Heathertt's post, then you can still come in, obtain a fair deal with excellent service and respect, but you do not have to deal with me. There are other managers and consultants here who are trustworthy and caring. However, Anthony Fanelli, you are never welcome here. I cannot risk your shady presence around the customers that keep this place operating. And RipOffReport.com, I am surprised. A direct quote from your site reads: The report should be relating an honest, factual, and impartial story. Make your statement as objective as possible. Report both sides to the story. Saying, "Joe Schmoe's company --ks" is neither informative, nor respectable. Reporting a false statement can get you sued. However, you have a strict policy of never removing posts. I even attempted contacting this site on a number of occasions to provide proof that this post is not factual, honest, or impartial, but it just fell on deaf ears. Thank you for reading. I look forward to earning your business, given the opportunity. -The wrongfully accused sales manager
