stephanie Papst dishonest, aggressive landlord, claimed normal wear and tear as damages and will not return security deposit, have history of doing this to other tenant too Santa Fe, New Mexico

Stephanie Papst is very bad Landlord: dishonest, aggressive, will make your life miserable, will constantly ask for extra $$$ for services that are included in the rental agreement, will D/C services, will not return your Deposit, will provide damage list that is actually normal wear and tear: smell from burning incense ( because she smokes and have tree dogs in the house) ....she will control everything in the house: heat, internet, DTV, access to the dumping garbage station...will make noise late in nite, if you are single woman she will verbally abuse you.
Her damage list will be: repainting the apartment because of smell from incense, cleaning the carpet because of the smell from incense, cleaning the furniture because of the smell from the incense ~ $1200; replacing the kitchen sink because of the scratch, replacing the shower glass because of the scratch ~ $1000, cleaning of oven, vacuuming the pallet stove, gardening, moving furniture ~ $400 (all this will be on her damage list - she will use her boyfriend Garcia to present a statement, also her estimate will be $35/hr for cleaning, gardening, moving furniture, so be aware of all this. My advice - do not rent! I can provide her original damage list, pictures, evidence of her dishonesty. She has a good lawyer - Karl Summers. Do not Rent. S.P. did the same to the other tenant(s).
